Together with the Head of Quality and Patient Safety, the Head of Quality and Patient Experience is
accountable for developing and driving the Trust’s strategy for quality, promoting the highest standards of
healthcare within the organisation. The role requires the post holder to communicate with staff at the highest
levels of the Trust and to engage with key local, regional and national stakeholder to inform development of
strategy and policy. Directly accountability to the Trust Board via the Chief Nurse and Medical Director, the
Heads of Quality provide vital assurance to the Board and its Committees that the Trust’s operations reflect
current best practice within the post holders’ designated areas of expertise and responsibility.
The Head of Quality and Patient Experience is the Trust lead for the following services:
- Care Quality Commission registration and compliance
- Clinical Audit and Effectiveness

- Chaplaincy (Spiritual and Pastoral Care)
- Patient Affairs (Bereavement office)
- Voluntary Services
- Promoting inclusion and diversity in relation to patient care – including provision of translating and

• Job Description:
MySQL Database Administrator (DBA) who will be responsible for ensuring the
Performance, Database Tuning, Database Cleanup, Database Migration, Database Availability, and Security of Clusters of MySQL
Instances. The candidate will also be responsible for Orchestrating Upgrades,
Backups, and Provisioning of Database Instances. The candidate will also work in
tandem with the other teams, documentation, and specifications as required.

• Key Responsibilities:
✓ Provision MySQL instances, both in Clustered and Non-Clustered Configurations
✓ Ensuring the Performance, Database Tuning, Database Availability, and Security
of Clusters of MySQL Instances
✓ Development of Database Schema
✓ Development of ERD
✓ Find the Root Cause of Database related issues & Database Clean-up
✓ Migrating Data from Customer Database to Serosoft Product Database
✓ Prepare Documentation and Specifications
✓ Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery,
migration, etc.
✓ Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
✓ Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Skills and Qualifications:
✓ Strong proficiency in MySQL database management
✓ Decent experience with recent versions of MySQL
✓ Understanding of MySQL’s underlying storage engines, such as InnoDB and
MyISAM
✓ Experience with replication configuration in MySQL
✓ Proficient in Database Clean-up and Migrations
✓ Knowledge of De-Facto Standards and Best Practices in MySQL
✓ Proficient in Writing and Optimizing SQL statements
✓ Proficient in Table Scan, Row Scan, Query Execution Plan, SQL Profiler, etc.
✓ Should be able to decide when to create Views (Standard Views, Indexed views,
and Partitioned views)
✓ Knowledge of MySQL features, such as its Event Scheduler
✓ Ability to plan Resource requirements from High-Level Specifications

- Obsess with data, define and track key metrics and draw actionable insights using data. Establish KPIs, and conduct quality assessments
- Help define Product Roadmap for new offerings aligned with the broader company vision and yearly targets
- Work with cross-functional team to take something from idea to hands of users
- Maximize the efficiency of all business procedures, Dissect product analytics and user behavior patterns into meaningful insights that grow the product.
Skills Required:
- Tech background with a good understanding of technology, data and building products. 2-6 years of experience in Product Management, Software Development, Analytics or similar roles in a consumer internet product set-up.
- A strong product sense, attention to the little big details, and eye for good visual design.
- Capable of taking business metrics, requirements or user problems and breaking them into workable product requirements, and leading the development of identified features
- Excellent presentation & communication, problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills to get the team on board with your vision
- Able to multitask, prioritize, work autonomously and with great time management skills
- Prior track record of working with product team from research phases through engineering to success would be highly preferred.
- Expertise in software design and development.
