Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer who will own infrastructure, deployment, reliability, and cloud cost optimisation. You will work closely with backend, AI, and product teams to ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and always available.

This is a high-ownership role with real impact on uptime, performance, and developer velocity.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred; AWS acceptable)
• Manage Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Kubernetes (GKE), Cloud SQL, storage, and networking
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability

CI/CD & Deployment

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend and AI services
• Automate deployments, rollbacks, and environment management (dev, staging, prod)
• Improve release reliability and deployment speed

Monitoring, Reliability & Security

• Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging (uptime, CPU, memory, errors, latency)
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and incidents
• Implement security best practices: IAM, secrets management, backups, and access controls

Cost Optimisation & Performance

• Monitor and optimise cloud costs (compute, databases, storage)
• Implement autoscaling, right-sizing, and resource optimisation
• Work with engineering teams to balance performance with cost efficiency

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 3–6 years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience
• Strong experience with GCP (or AWS with willingness to transition)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised workloads
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar)
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues under pressure
• Experience with AI/ML workloads and GPU-based deployments

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer with a strong background in backend development to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience and has have extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and optimizing infrastructure on Azure. Additionally, expertise in backend technologies and development frameworks is required to collaborate effectively with the development team in delivering scalable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment using tools such as Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
• Develop and maintain build and deployment pipelines, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Monitor and maintain the health of the production infrastructure, including load balancers, databases, and application servers.
• Automate the software development and delivery lifecycle, including code building, testing, deployment, and release.
• Familiarity with Azure CLI, Azure REST APIs, Azure Resource Manager template, Azure billing/cost management and the Azure Management Console
• Must have experience of any one of the programming language (Java, .Net, Python )
• Ensure high availability of the production environment by implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

The F5 Infra Engineer plays a critical role to our Product Development team by providing valuable services and tools for the F5 Hyderabad Product Development Lab. The Infra team supports both production systems and customized/flexible testing environments used by Test and Product Development teams. As an Infra Engineer, you ’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and work with talented individuals. The ideal candidate will have experience in Private and Public Cloud – AWS-AZURE-GCP, OpenStack, storage, Backup, VMware, KVM, XEN, HYPER-V Hypervisor Server Administration, Networking and Automation in Data Center Operations environment at a global enterprise scale with Kubernetes, OpenShift Container Flatforms.

EXPERIENCE

7- 9+ Years – Software Engineer III

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive the design, Project Build, Infrastructure setup, monitoring, measurements, and improvements around the quality of services Provided, Network and Virtual Instances service from OpenStack, VMware VIO, Public and private cloud and DevOps environments.

• Work closely with the customers and understand the requirements and get it done on timelines.

• Work closely with F5 architects and vendors to understand emerging technologies and F5 Product Roadmap and how they would benefit the Infra team and its users.

• Work closely with the Team and complete the deliverables on-time

• Consult with testers, application, and service owners to design scalable, supportable network infrastructure to meet usage requirements.

• Assume ownership for large/complex systems projects; mentor Lab Network Engineers in the best practices for ongoing maintenance and scaling of large/complex systems.
