Role Overview
Role:
This is a growth and revenue role, not a content creation role. And it is not a strategy-on-paper role either as YouTube & Social Growth Lead, you are the digital strategy lead for Swastik Stories. You will own the subscriber and revenue trajectory across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook — setting the strategy, executing in the trenches, co-owning the content calendar alongside the Marketing Lead, managing our YouTube CMS vendor, driving community engagement, and leading a small team. You will have a dedicated data analyst and a community manager supporting your work. The decisions, the direction, and the results are yours to own.
If you’re someone who reads a drop in RPM before anyone else notices, knows why a thumbnail A/B test matters more than a posting schedule, has grown a channel or community from the ground up, and can turn an analytics dashboard into a growth decision within the hour — this role is for you.
What You’ll Own
YouTube Channel Growth
- Subscriber growth strategy and week-on-week execution
- Upload consistency — co-own the content calendar with the Marketing Lead and ensure zero-gap months
- Thumbnail strategy and A/B testing (in coordination with the design team)
- SEO across all uploads — titles, descriptions, tags, chapters, end screens
- Playlist architecture and homepage row optimisation
- YouTube CMS vendor management — brief, review, hold accountable
Revenue Optimisation
- AdSense revenue tracking — RPM, CPM, watch time, long-form vs. Shorts mix
- Mid-roll ad placement strategy and continuous optimisation
- Diaspora market activation — USA, UK, UAE, Canada, Australia
- Identify and close content-search gaps driving unmonetised organic traffic
- Facebook in-stream and Reels revenue management
Instagram & Facebook
- Reel and short-form strategy for discovery and channel conversion
- Cross-platform content adaptation strategy (repurposing, not production)
- Facebook page monetisation — Stars, in-stream ads, Reels bonuses
Community Engagement
- Own the community engagement strategy across YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook
- Community engagement directly affects algorithm performance and revenue — this sits with this role
- Manage and direct the community manager who reports into this role
- Comments, polls, community posts, pinned content, subscriber interaction — all under this purview
Analytics & Reporting
- Weekly performance dashboard — subscribers, views, watch time, RPM, revenue
- Monthly revenue vs. target review for leadership
- Direct management of the in-house data analyst
What We’re Looking For
Must-have
• 5–8 years in digital marketing, with at least 3 years directly owning YouTube channel growth metrics
• Demonstrable track record — come prepared to share subscriber growth numbers, RPM improvements, or revenue milestones you personally drove. Numbers, not narratives.
• Deep YouTube Studio proficiency: analytics, A/B thumbnail testing, monetisation dashboard, audience retention curves
• Working command of Meta Business Suite for Facebook and Instagram revenue
• Strong data fluency — comfortable owning dashboards, reading trend data, and making channel decisions from numbers
• Vendor management experience
• Comfortable being hands-on — this role sets strategy and executes it. If you need a large team to implement what you think, this isn’t the right fit.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mobile Automation Tester who is passionate in Mobile App Automation and works in one or more mobile automation frameworks.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
- Build test automation frameworks.
- Work in an agile development environment where developers and testers work closely together to ensure requirements are met.
- Design, document, manage and execute test cases, sets, and suites.
- Work in cross-functional project teams that include Development, Marketing, Usability, Software Quality Assurance, Customer Learning, and Support.
- Review test cases and automate whenever possible. -Educate team members on test automation and drive adoption.
- Integrate automated test cases into nightly build systems.
Required Skills:
- Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
- Experience in Mobile Testing. IOS automation and Android automation.
- Hands-on experience in any programming language like Java, python, javascript, Ruby, C#.
- Experience & knowledge of tools like JIRA, Selenium , Postman, Web and App test automation.
- Ability to deliver results under pressure.
- Self-development skills to keep up to date with fast-changing trends.
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines like (Jenkins, Circle CI).
- API, DB Automation.
- Excellent scripting experience.
Educational Qualifications:
● Candidates with Bachelor / Master's degree would be preferred
- Mentor UI team, UI software engineers and graphic designers, design our UI framework, to build
next-generation UI
- You will also work closely with product teams to implement new features. We're looking for
someone with a zero-errors attitude who can self-manage their work to meet tight schedules
with minimal supervision.
