DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience. He/she should be selfmotivated, go-getter, out of the box thinker, and ready to work in a high-energy
environment. He/she must demonstrate a high level of ownership, integrity, and leadership
skills and be flexible and adaptive with a strong desire to learn & excel.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience working with tools and platforms like Helm charts, Circle CI, Jenkins,
• and/or Codefresh
• Excellent knowledge of AWS offerings around Cloud and DevOps
• Strong expertise in containerization platforms like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes & Rancher
• Should be familiar with leading Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
• Strong experience in Python, Shell Scripting, Ansible, and Terraform
• Good command over monitoring tools like Datadog, Zabbix, Elk, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver, Prometheus, JFrog, Nagios, etc.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration.

OPERATIONS ENGINEER(DevOps)
Role Description:
● Own, deploy, configure, and manage infrastructure environment and/or applications in
both private and public cloud through cross-technology administration (OS, databases,
virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution.
● Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration.
● Act as the primary point of contact for all compute, network, storage, security, or
automation incidents/requests.
● Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.
Technical experience:
● Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Golang.
● Expertise in using command line tools and shells
● Strong working knowledge of Linux/UNIX and related applications
● Knowledge in implementing DevOps and having an inclination towards automation.
● Sound knowledge in infrastructure-as-a-code approaches with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or
Terraform, and Helm. (preference towards Terraform, Ansible, and Helm)
● Must have strong experience in technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift,
etc.
● Working with REST/gRPC/GraphQL APIs
● Knowledge in networking, firewalls, network automation
● Experience with Continuous Delivery pipelines - Jenkins/JenkinsX/ArgoCD/Tekton.
● Experience with Git, GitHub, and related tools
● Experience in at least one public cloud provider
Skills/Competencies

DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

 

The position requires a broad set of technical and interpersonal skills that includes deployment technologies, monitoring and scripting from networking to infrastructure. Well versed in troubleshooting Prod issues and should be able to drive till the RCA.

 

Skills:

 

• Manage VMs across multiple datacenters and AWS to support dev/test and production workloads.
• Strong hands-on over Ansible is preferred
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Kubernetes Architecture and administration.
• Should have core knowledge in Linux and System operations.
• Proactively and reactively resolve incidents as escalated from monitoring solutions and end users.
• Conduct and automate audits for network and systems infrastructure.
• Do software deployments, per documented processes, with no impact to customers.
• Follow existing devops processes while having flexibility to create and tweak processes to gain efficiency.
• Troubleshoot connectivity problems across network, systems or applications.
• Follow security guidelines, both policy and technical to protect our customers.
• Ability to automate recurring tasks to increase velocity and quality.
• Should have worked on any one of the Database (Postgres/Mongo/Cockroach/Cassandra)
• Should have knowledge and hands-on experience in managing ELK clusters.
• Scripting Knowledge in Shell/Python is added advantage.
• Hands-on Experience over K8s based Microservice Architecture is added advantage.

AWS core components (or their GCP/Azure equivalents) and their management: EC2, ELB, NAT, VPC, IAM Roles and policies, EBS and S3, CloudFormation, Elasticache, Route53, etc.

CI/CD automation experience

Job Description:
● Develop and deliver automation software required for building & improving the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms
● Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and mindset
