
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in mechanical design and expertise in Solid Edge software. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers in accordance with ASME, API, and other relevant codes and standards. • Utilize Solid Edge software to create detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings. • Perform engineering calculations, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and material selection. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. • Review client specifications and technical requirements to ensure project deliverables meet expectations. • Conduct design validation and verification to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance. • Prepare technical documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), design reports, and manuals. • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure proper selection of materials and components. • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in pressure vessel and heat exchanger design. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. • 3 to 5 years of experience in designing pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers. • Proficiency in Solid Edge software for 3D modelling and drafting. • Strong understanding of engineering principles, including structural and thermal analysis. • Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, API 650, TEMA, and other relevant standards. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) tools for stress and thermal analysis. • Experience with fabrication processes, materials, and welding techniques. • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
