Position: Senior Backend Developer (NodeJS)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Backend Engineer to join our team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Develop high-quality software design and architecture

● Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.

● Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code

● Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

● Review and debug code

● Perform validation and verification testing

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fix and improve products

● Document development phases and monitor systems

● Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies

Desired Profile:

● NodeJS [Typescript]

● MongoDB [NoSQL DB]

● MySQL, PostgreSQL

● AWS - S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloud Watch, ECR, ECS, Fargate, SQS / SNS

● Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker

● Good Understanding of Serverless Architecture

● Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer

● Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management

● Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks

● Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)

● Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude

We are looking to hire Node.js Backend developers to build a consumer-friendly social commerce app.

THE POSITION:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in designing & implementing scalable, resilient backend microservices

- Expert at any backend programming language (Python/GoLang preferrable) and has exposure to API design and scalable architecture

- Hands-on experience on a couple of RDBMS/NoSQL/In-memory DBs

- Great database modelling skills

- Ability to choose the right algorithm, data-structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement

- Knowledge of any cloud based platform like AWS or GCP and scaling on the go

- Understanding of various application security principles and experience with building applications secure by design

• Experienced in designing application framework solutions, performing architectural analysis, and identifying issues and provide solutions for the business problems.
• Sound functional knowledge of application architecture service architecture, code modularity, data synchronisation, customisable workflow management, partner application integration and API developer frameworks.
• Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of new architecture and major functional upgrades for the most advanced capabilities 
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and developers.
• Engage cross-organizational teams such as Product Management, Integrations, Services, Support, and Operations, to ensure the success of overall software development, implementation, and deployment.
