What You’ll Do

Core Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning to execution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Prior experience in Infrastructure Engineering or Application Development environments.
• Drive technical discussions around system architecture, scalability, and delivery.
• Balance client expectations, project priorities, and team bandwidth effectively.
• Mentor and guide team members while ensuring healthy work-life balance.
• Continuously learn and stay updated with evolving technologies and industry practices.

Management Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and delivery teams.
• Track milestones, risks, dependencies, and project schedules proactively.
• Create and maintain regular project status reports and delivery metrics.
• Establish efficient technical and operational processes for teams.
• Provide accurate effort estimations and prioritize tasks across modules and teams.
• Build strong feedback loops with internal and external stakeholders.

Organization Building

• Drive key initiatives with organization-wide impact across teams and functions.
• Improve reporting, operational efficiency, and delivery management practices.

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in software delivery and engineering management.
• Experience managing and mentoring teams of 10+ members.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, system design, and software architecture.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects in both Fixed Scope and T&M models.
• Background in engineering delivery, ideally having grown from a developer role.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in delivery metrics.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience handling high-pressure situations, risks, and disaster management scenarios.
• Ability to understand business priorities and align team execution accordingly.

Location: Remote

Required Technical Competency & Qualifications

v In Depth understanding of Odoo ERP and all the default Odoo modules.

v Good Knowledge in ORM methods, Python and JavaScript.

v Strong Knowledge on API integration.

v Capable of working on Odoo framework on existing app and custom module.

v Enhance applications, develop and configure features and functionalities that support business requirements

v Good Knowledge in code repositories- Github.

v Should have good technical support skills.

v Good Analytical, Communication and interpersonal skills.

v Ability to work with a close bound team structure.

v Ability to work under minimal supervision.

v Should be able to work in client facing roles.

What You'll Do


You will be part of our data platform & data engineering team. As part of this agile team, you will work in our cloud native environment and perform following activities to support core product development and client specific projects:

• You will develop the core engineering frameworks for an advanced self-service data analytics product.
• You will work with multiple types of data storage technologies such as relational, blobs, key-value stores, document databases and streaming data sources.
• You will work with latest technologies for data federation with MPP (Massive Parallel Processing) capabilities
• Your work will entail backend architecture to enable data modeling, data queries and API development for both back-end and front-end data interfaces.
• You will support client specific data processing needs using SQL and Python/Pyspark
• You will integrate our product with other data products through Django APIs
• You will partner with other team members in understanding the functional / non-functional business requirements, and translate them into software development tasks
• You will follow the software development best practices in ensuring that the code architecture and quality of code written by you is of high standard, as expected from an enterprise software
• You will be a proactive contributor to team and project discussions

Who you are


• Strong education track record - Bachelors or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline from Indian Institute of Technology or equivalent premium institute.
• 2-3 years of experience in data queries, data processing and data modeling
• Excellent ANSI SQL skills to handle complex queries
• Excellent Python and Django programming skills.
• Strong knowledge and experience in modern and distributed data stack components such as the Spark, Hive, Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and native cloud technologies for data storage and data processing
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, Blobs, MongoDB etc.
• Familiarity with ML models is highly preferred
• Experience with Big Data processing and performance optimization
• Should know how to write modular, optimized and documented code.
• Should have good knowledge around error handling.
• Experience in version control systems such as GIT
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Self-starter, continuous learner.

Good to have some exposure to

• Start-up experience is highly preferred
• Exposure to any Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Tableau, Dundas, Power BI etc.
• Agile software development methodologies.
• Working in multi-functional, multi-location teams

• Reporting to our MD India, the Head of Partner will cover all aspects of outbound large customer sales
• Initially, you will create the processes to gain our first few high-value clients from India and establish the function within the business helping us grow in line with our strategic priorities
• Later, you will help shape the future structure of the team, expected to be 3-4 partner managers within a year, and be responsible for the team’s overall performance
• As such, a balance of being hands-on, to begin with, and moving more into a leadership role as the business grows is expected.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in sales to small and medium businesses

• Fluent in written and verbal communication in English and at least 1 other major Indian language

Desirable

• Experience in selling lead generation or marketing services - for example with Urban Company or similar organisation
• Written and verbal fluency in 2 or more major Indian languages (in addition to English)
