Summary:

We are searching for a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality WordPress websites and web applications. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to create engaging and user-friendly experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs and plugins to extend website functionality.
• Optimize websites for performance and ensure responsiveness across all devices.
• Implement best practices for website security and maintenance.
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery preferred).
• Experience with PHP and a strong understanding of WordPress development principles.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Make outbound calls to potential clients to generate leads and increase attendance at trade shows and exhibitions

• Follow up on leads and inquiries generated from previous events

• Maintain and update a database of potential attendees

• Communicate with individuals and companies to promote the event and its features, answer questions, and persuade them to attend

• Provide information about registration, pricing, schedules, and other relevant details

• Follow up with attendees after the event to gather feedback and assess satisfaction

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing campaigns and strategies to increase attendance and achieve event goals

• Attend team meetings and provide regular updates on progress and outcomes

• Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times

• Design and develop new user-facing features using React adhering to best coding practices and standards
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code and building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or any other relevant engineering field from a reputed institute.
• Experience of 3 - 6 years as a Frontend Engineer.
• Excellent programming skills in JavaScript
• Proficient in ReactJS
• Good Exposure to AngularJS and VueJS
• Familiarity with CSS, Restful API modern build pipelines and development tools
• Good understanding of design patterns and a strong grasp of Material Design guidelines 

  
  Preferred Skills

  • Experience in developing and deploying applications on AWS, and Firebase. Experience with popular state management, frontend, and server-side rendering libraries
  • Understanding common front-end development tools (Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.) and code versioning tools (Git and Mercurial)
  • Familiarity with Micro-frontends Architecture, Material UI, Ant Design, and GraphQL
  • Has delivered projects with end-to-end accountability
  • Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
  • Strong desire to learn and grow, with intelligence & adaptability while building the best-in-class systems

B. Aims & Goals:

You are required to work with all departments at Pelican to implement, enhance and improve ISMS, GDPR and ISAE 3402 processes. You will also be closely working with external auditor as well as top management for status and reporting.

C. Key Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibilities include:  Assist in audit planning, including the identification of processes for audit review.   Execute internal audit assignments for all locations in India, US, UK and NL. Review the effectiveness of the controls.   Identify and document audit issues and opportunities for improvement.  Prepare the audit report for internal audit assignments and discuss audit findings with senior management.   Monitor and maintain the CAPA program. Assist with follow up corrective actions and oversee timely completion.  Facilitate independent audit engagements on behalf of the company.  Assist to develop and implement process improvements and best practices across the business unit. Review policies and procedures for all areas of the business.  Develop new policies and procedures as directed or required, to improve and to collect and analyse data for review with internal stakeholders.  Take responsibility for the management and execution of internal audit assignments, production of audit reports and management of follow up actions  Involved with working across all areas of the business to ensure that processes are documented and compliant to the company’s requirements.

E. Essential Skills:  Should have participated in ISMS (ISO 27001:2013) implementation and certification process.
