About the Role

We are looking for builders of the 1st order. You will work closely with Product and AI Research to build features, tools, and scalable architecture As with any startup, responsibilities will vary frequently. You’ll wear multiple hats, and work across many different technologies, might talk to clients directly, and have an active say in the direction of our product. We want someone who is passionate about this type of environment!

What you’ll do

• You will manage a team of Software Engineers distributed under Tech Leads.
• You will collaborate closely with other engineers of the team and lend your help in your areas of expertise.
• You will manage a scale of Millions of Images processed everyday through Computer Vision algorithms running in the backend.
• Build microservices to support new functionality.
• Bind our front and back end services together.
• Deliver maintainable and high-quality code

We are looking for:

• BTech degree in Computer Science, Engineering, from tier-1 engineering institutes
• 6+ years of Software Development experience in a product development setup
• 3+ years of experience leading a team of Software engineers (strict criteria), preferably in a product based startup environment
• Extremely self-motivated and autonomous.
• Strong data structures and algorithm skills
• Designing database schemas and architecture
• Strong knowledge of Microservices architectural patterns
• Deep experience of building systems at a massive scale

Strong preference for IIT /NIT/ BITS passouts passing out between 2014 and 2015 and experience in major tech product companies (unicorns, well funded startups of good repute - series A and above funded).

 

Note*: 6 years or above experience is mandatory

• Develops code in C# and front-end technologies like Angular and React.
• Can test own code using unit testing framework.
• Able to understand and adhere to design principles and technical designs explained to him.
• Able to solve algorithmic and platform problems by researching online and trying out solutions

• ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server and JavaScript are must.
• MVC candidate should be preferred.

About the Role -
We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to develop new and improve existing features and experiences for our products . You'll craft a strategy rooted firmly in user insights that paint an exciting vision of the future, and deliver on that vision through effective planning, interaction design, visuals, and
prototypes, you will be making our products more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.
As the team responsible for Pocket FM, we build both consumer-facing and business products for various platforms. You will be part of the design team that combines interfaces and workflows and enhances user experience.
In this role you will be designing products and experiences that meet people's needs, You should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems.

Responsibilities -
● Understand product specifications and user psychology

● Creating personas though user research and data
● Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

Requirements -
● Proven experience as a UX designer, UI Designer or similar role
● Strong portfolio of design projects
● Background in project management and research
● Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
● Proficient in Design software ( e.g. Figma, XD or sketch ),
● Problem solving aptitude
● Analytical mind with a business acumen
● Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management and product management skills
Knowledge of front end development in Web, Android and/or iOS is a plus.

Required Skills :

• 4-6 years of overall software development experience
• 2+ years of development experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with support of high-availability, high-performance, customer-facing web applications
• Expert in configuring and deploying multiple rails applications quickly
• Experience with collaborative code development in small agile teams and managing releases (Git, Continuous Integration, Capistrano)
• Experience building internal and external APIs and RESTful web services
• Strong foundation in Database ( SQL / Postgres )
• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud-based infrastructure (Heroku/AWS)
• Outstanding understanding of software design and architecture

It will be good if you also have:
