LogiNext is looking for a technically savvy and passionate Junior DevOps Engineer to cater to the development and operations efforts in product. You will choose and deploy tools and technologies to build and support a robust and scalable infrastructure.

Knowledge in building secure, high-performing and scalable infrastructure. Experience to automate and streamline the development operations and processes. You are a master in troubleshooting and resolving issues in non-production and production environments.

Responsibilities:

Scale and optimise a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases, web servers, application frameworks, caches, and distributed messaging systems Automate the deployment and configuration of the virtualized infrastructure and the entire software stack Support several Linux servers running our SaaS platform stack on AWS, Azure, GCP Define and build processes to identify performance bottlenecks and scaling pitfalls Manage robust monitoring and alerting infrastructure Explore new tools to improve development operations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 0 to 1 years of experience in designing and maintaining high volume and scalable micro-services architecture on cloud infrastructure Knowledge in Linux/Unix Administration and Python/Shell Scripting Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, Auto-scaling, VPC, Lambda), GCP, Azure Knowledge in deployment automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, Chef, GitLab) and monitoring tools like Zabbix, Cloud Watch Monitoring, Nagios Knowledge of Java Virtual Machines, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Apache Kafka, Microservices architecture, Caching mechanisms Experience in enterprise application development, maintenance and operations Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Build and scale production infrastructure in AWS for the HappyFox platform and its products.
• Research, Build/Implement systems, services and tooling to improve uptime, reliability and maintainability of our backend infrastructure. And to meet our internal SLOs and customer-facing SLAs.
• Implement consistent observability, deployment and IaC setups
• Lead incident management and actively respond to escalations/incidents in the production environment from customers and the support team.
• Hire/Mentor other Infrastructure engineers and review their work to continuously ship improvements to production infrastructure and its tooling.
• Build and manage development infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines for our teams to ship & test code faster.
• Lead infrastructure security audits

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in handling/building Production environments in AWS.
• At least 3 years of programming experience in building API/backend services for customer-facing applications in production.
• Proficient in managing/patching servers with Unix-based operating systems like Ubuntu Linux.
• Proficient in writing automation scripts or building infrastructure tools using Python/Ruby/Bash/Golang
• Experience in deploying and managing production Python/NodeJS/Golang applications to AWS EC2, ECS or EKS.
• Experience in security hardening of infrastructure, systems and services.
• Proficient in containerised environments such as Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes
• Experience in setting up and managing test/staging environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
• Exposure/Experience in setting up or managing Cloudflare, Qualys and other related tools
• Passion for making systems reliable, maintainable, scalable and secure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to address, escalate and express technical ideas clearly
• Bonus points – Hands-on experience with Nginx, Postgres, Postfix, Redis or Mongo systems.

• Hands-on knowledge on various CI-CD tools (Jenkins/TeamCity, Artifactory, UCD, Bitbucket/Github, SonarQube) including setting up of build-deployment automated pipelines.
• Very good knowledge in scripting tools and languages such as Shell, Perl or Python , YAML/Groovy, build tools such as Maven/Gradle.
• Hands-on knowledge in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet/Chef and have worked on setting up of monitoring tools (Splunk/Geneos/New Relic/Elk).
•             Expertise in job schedulers/workload automation tools such as Control-M or AutoSys is good to have.
• Hands-on knowledge on Cloud technology (preferably GCP) including various computing services and infrastructure setup using Terraform.

• Should have basic understanding on networking, certificate management, Identity and Access Management and Information security/encryption concepts.
• •             Should support day-to-day tasks related to platform and environments upkeep such as upgrades, patching, migration and system/interfaces integration.
• •             Should have experience in working in Agile based SDLC delivery model, multi-task and support multiple systems/apps.
• •             Big-data and Hadoop ecosystem knowledge is good to have but not mandatory.

• Should have worked on standard release, change and incident management tools such as ServiceNow/Remedy or similar

•  Expertise in implementing and managing Devops CI/CD pipeline. ( either using Jenkins or Azure DevOps ) 
• At least one AWS or Azure Certification

•  Hands-on experience with git and source code management and release management.
• Experience in DevOps automation tools. And Very well versed with DevOps principles and the Agile Frameworks.
• Working knowledge of scripting using shell, Python, Gradle, Yaml, Ansible or puppet or chef.
• Working knowledge of build systems for various technologies like npm, maven etc. 
• Experience and good understanding in any of Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google cloud.
• Hands on Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting skills with proven abilities in resolving complex technical issues. Experience with working with ticketing tools (Jira & Service now)
• A programming language like Java, Go , NodeJS is a nice to have.

Position Summary

DevOps is a Department of Horizontal Digital, within which we have 3 different practices.

1. Cloud Engineering
2. Build and Release
3. Managed Services

This opportunity is for Cloud Engineering role who also have some experience with Infrastructure migrations, this will be a complete hands-on job, with focus on migrating clients workloads to the cloud, reporting to the Solution Architect/Team Lead and along with that you are also expected to work on different projects for building out the Sitecore Infrastructure from scratch.

We are Sitecore Platinum Partner and majority of the Infrastructure work that we are doing is for Sitecore.

Sitecore is a .Net Based Enterprise level Web CMS, which can be deployed on On-Prem, IaaS, PaaS and Containers.

So, most of our DevOps work is currently planning, architecting and deploying infrastructure for Sitecore.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• This role includes ownership of technical, commercial and service elements related to cloud migration and Infrastructure deployments.
• Person who will be selected for this position will ensure high customer satisfaction delivering Infra and migration projects.
• Candidate must expect to work in parallel across multiple projects, along with that candidate must also have a fully flexible approach to working hours.
• Candidate should keep him/herself updated with the rapid technological advancements and developments that are taking place in the industry.
• Along with that candidate should also have a know-how on Infrastructure as a code, Kubernetes, AKS/EKS, Terraform, Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines.

Requirements:

• Ability to Assess and perform discovery independently for any cloud migration.

• Understanding on vSphere and Hyper-V Virtualization.
• Working experience with Active Directory.
• Working experience with AWS Cloud formation/Terraform templates.
• Working Experience of VPN/Express route/peering/Network Security Groups/Route Table/NAT Gateway, etc.
• Experience of working with CI/CD tools like Octopus, Teamcity, Code Build, Code Deploy, Azure DevOps, GitHub action.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery Implementations, taking into the consideration of RTO and RPO aspects.
• Candidates with AWS/Azure/GCP Certifications will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

Look through the various DevOps Tools/Technologies and identify the strengths and provide direction to the DevOps automation team

Out-of-box thought process on the DevOps Automation Platform implementation

Expose various tools and technologies and do POC on integration of the these tools

Evaluate Backend API's for various DevOps tools

Perform code reviews keep in context of RASUI

Mentor the team on the various E2E integrations

Be Liaison in evangelizing the automation solution currently implemented

Bring in various DevOps best Practices/Principles and participate in adoption with various app teams

Must have:

Should possess Bachelors/Masters in computer science with minimum of 8+ years of experience

Should possess minimum 3 years of strong experience in DevOps

Should possess expertise in using various DevOps tools libraries and API's (Jenkins/JIRA/AWX/Nexus/GitHub/BitBucket/SonarQube)

Should possess expertise in optimizing the DevOps stack ( Containers/Kubernetes/Monitoring )

2+ Experience in creating solutions and translate to the development team

Should have strong understanding of OOPs, SDLC (Agile Safe standards)

Proficient in Python , with a good knowledge of its ecosystems (IDEs and Frameworks)

Proficient in various cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google cloud platform)
