Channel Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing data science team. In this role, you will lead complex data analysis projects, develop advanced machine learning models, and provide actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will mentor junior data scientists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems and improve our products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects: From problem definition and data collection to model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• Develop and implement advanced machine learning models: Including but not limited to regression, classification, clustering, deep learning, and natural language processing.
• Perform complex data analysis and statistical modeling: To identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets.
• Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes: To ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively: Through visualizations, reports, and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Including product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders, to define project goals and deliver impactful solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists: Providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning: And apply new techniques and technologies to improve our data science capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards: For data science methodologies and tools.
• Evaluate and improve existing models and algorithms: to maximize performance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the development team to plan, execute and monitor deployments
• Capacity planning for product deployments
• Adopt best practices for deployment and monitoring systems
• Ensure the SLAs for performance, up time are met
• Constantly monitor systems, suggest changes to improve performance and decrease costs.
• Ensure the highest standards of security

Key Competencies (Functional):

• Proficiency in coding in atleast one scripting language - bash, Python, etc
• Has personally managed a fleet of servers (> 15)
• Understand different environments production, deployment and staging
• Worked in micro service / Service oriented architecture systems
• Has worked with automated deployment systems – Ansible / Chef / Puppet.
• Can write MySQL queries

Responsibilities: ·         

• Develop comprehensive product documentation that meets global standards.         
• Work with Engineering team to create Product Technical documentation, Knowledgebase, API Documentation.     
• Work with Product Management team to create Product User Guides, FAQs, Support Knowledgebase etc.         
• Work with Technical & Marketing teams to create content for Technical Blogs, White Papers, Product Comparisons, Case Studies etc.      
• Periodically review existing documentation and update them for Product Releases, prepare Release Notes. 
• Obtain a deep understanding of products to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.     

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
• 2-8 years’ experience as an effective technical writer for products in the Cloud Computing Industry.
• Proven ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and create easily understandable text and pictures.
• Understanding of Cloud Concepts and experience in creating related documentation is a must.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience working with engineering to improve user experience and create visuals for technical support content.
• Experience working with video (screen capture) creation tools for user documentation.
• Understanding of REST APIs and ability to do simple checks using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience using Wordpress and other similar tools to create documentation.
