What You'll Do

• Design, build, and scale test automation frameworks across Web and Desktop platforms — from scratch or on top of what exists
• Own and evolve existing automation suites, keeping them fast, reliable, and maintainable
• Drive bug triage end-to-end: identify, document, communicate, and follow through until resolution
• Debug complex failures and dig deep into code to uncover root causes, not just symptoms
• Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and thresholds before they become production incidents
• Collaborate with Dev and Product teams using Git and Jenkins as part of a mature CI/CD pipeline
• Champion Object-Oriented Design principles across test code because quality code deserves quality tests

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Selenium-based automation frameworks
• Deep understanding of QA processes — test planning, feature ownership, automation reporting, bug triage, regression, and isolation
• Proven experience with REST API automation frameworks and scripting
• Strong programming skills in Python with solid grasp of Data Structures and OOP concepts5. Functional knowledge of the full software testing lifecycle and test case writing
• Working knowledge of build tools — Jenkins, Apache Ant, or Gradle
• Experience with API Testing and proficiency in integrating it into CI pipelines
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and software build processes
• Experience testing cloud-based SaaS or PaaS products with a demonstrated sense of ownership
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, product, and business teams

About the role:

You will own a functional area - from product conception to its delivery to customers. You are expected to design and code independently in multiple tech components related to your functional area. You must also develop a deep understanding of non-functional requirements, such as reliability and availability, scale, horizontal scalability, etc. over time to make tech stack decisions accordingly. You are expected to actively mentor junior engineers. You own

the codebase quality.

What you’ll need

• B.Tech or M.Tech equivalent with at least 3 years of experience
• Deep expertise in at least one programming language & tech stack.
• Strong object-oriented design skills, ability to apply design patterns, and an uncanny ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
• Experience in building data-driven web application design and development is a plus
• Good understanding of multiple tech solutions and ability to pick the correct one for the given situation
• Prior work experience in an agile environment or continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI or CD)
• Ability and experience in designing high-level software designs of the scalable system, taking NFR (non-functional requirement) into consideration

Responsibilities:

 Ensure product delivery is fast, low-cost and sustainable.

 Take responsibility from development to customer support.

 Research and implement things wherever needed, improve efficiency using

automation, and methods like test driven development.

 Setting up events for user, performance and error analytics.

 Participate in product and design ideation, collaborate with the team to

implement high-quality features.

Skills & Qualifications

 2 years of experience in software development preferably B2C experience.

 Experience in React native, Javascript.

 Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux).

 Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6 & ES5 ).

 Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

 Experience in working with the MERN stack or similar frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be part of the team responsible for the enterprise grade SAAS platform.

2. Own end-to-end design and development of Product Features.

3. Design and implement software for testability, maintainability, scalability, supportability.

4. Troubleshoot and support field issues, microservices monitoring.

5. Hands-on working on SAAS based applications.

6. Experience with working on scalable, highly available distributed systems.

7. Robust understanding of Agile development along with CI/CD pipeline.

8. Solid understanding of software development Life Cycle.

9. Solid understanding of end to end Application Security and incorporating the same during development.

10. Exposure to micro-services architecture and microservices development frameworks, platform based architecture.

11. Experience in AWS/Azure.

12. Experience in Dockers, and Kubernetes. ECS, EKS, AKS etc

13. Experience with RDBMS such as Postgres(Preferred), MySQL and nosql databases(Desired).

14. Experience in languages such as Python(Preferred), Java.

15. Exposure to development of data platforms for analytics, reporting etc.

16. Exposure to the development of IOT applications is a plus.

Other requirements

1. Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue.js(preferred), ReactJS

2. Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design techniques, and front-end performance optimization.

3. Exposure to the development of API-driven Single Page Applications

4. Exposure to AWS Cloudfront, Akamai etc.

5. Experience in Application monitoring and log management tools.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent area
• 10 to 20 years of experience in software development
• Hands-on experience designing and building B2B or B2C products
• 3+ years architecting SaaS/Web based customer facing products, leading engineering teams as software/technical architect
• Experiences of engineering practices such as code refactoring, microservices, design and enterprise integration patterns, test and design-driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, application and infrastructure security
• Strong cloud infrastructure experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience building event driven systems and working with message queues/topics
• Broad working experience across multiple programming languages and frameworks with in-depth experience in one or more of the following: .Net, Java, Scala or Go-lang
• Hands-on experience with relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL and document stores like Elasticsearch or MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with Big Data processing technologies like Hadoop/Spark is a plus
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Agile software development process
