About Team

The machine learning team at IDfy is self-contained and responsible for building models and services that support key workflows. Our models serve as gating criteria for these workflows and are expected to perform accurately and quickly. We use a mix of conventional and hand-crafted deep learning models.

The team comes from diverse backgrounds and experiences and works directly with business and product teams to craft solutions for our customers. We function as a platform, not a services company.

We are the match if you...

• Are a mid-career machine learning engineer (or data scientist) with 4-8 years of experience in data science.

Must-Haves

• Experience in framing and solving problems with machine learning or deep learning models.
• Expertise in either computer vision or natural language processing (NLP), with appropriate production system experience.
• Experience with generative AI, including fine-tuning models and utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Understanding that modeling is just a part of building and delivering AI solutions, with knowledge of what it takes to keep a high-performance system up and running.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, HuggingFace, Spacy, etc.
• Enthusiasm and drive to learn and apply state-of-the-art research.
• Ability to write APIs.
• Experience with AI systems and at least one cloud provider: AWS Sagemaker, GCP VertexAI, AzureML.

Good to Haves

• Familiarity with languages like Go, Elixir, or an interest in functional programming.
• Knowledge and experience in MLOps and tooling, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.

Here’s what your day would look like...

In this role, you will:

• Work on all aspects of a production machine learning system, including acquiring data, training and building models, deploying models, building API services for exposing these models, and maintaining them in production.
• Focus on performance tuning of models.
• Occasionally support and debug production systems.
• Research and apply the latest technology to build new products and enhance the existing platform.
• Build workflows for training and production systems.
• Contribute to documentation.

While the emphasis will be on researching, building, and deploying models into production, you will also contribute to other aspects of the project.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a PHP Developer at Vedika Web Solutions. The PHP Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, object-oriented programming (OOP), front-end development, software development, and programming tasks on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
