Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 2+ YOE in Consumer analytics for Product / Marketing / Business / Consumer behaviour Insights for B2C Products (Don't want logistics, operations or supply-chain focused analytics profiles, they should have worked on consumer-side analytics)

Mandatory (Experience 2): Must have hands-on experience with data analysis tools (SQL or Excel or Python or R)

Mandatory (Experience 3): Must have hands-on experience with KPI dashboard creation and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI among others) for effective reporting at various organizational levels

Mandatory (Company): B2C product companies offering digital / Tech products (such as Fintech, EdTech, AdTech, TravelTech)

Mandatory (Exclusion): Avoid all e-commerce companies like Meesho, Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, as their scope of work is limited and irrelevant to their requirement.

Note: Candidates must be from B2C tech product companies where the core user experience is driven by the technology itself—not from companies like Ola, Swiggy, Zepto, Zomato, Uber, where the user experience is shaped by a tangible service (e.g., food delivery or cab rides).

Mandatory (Stability): Minimum 2 years per role required. One short stint is acceptable if there’s a long tenure (eg: 5+ years) in a prior role. Frequent job changes are straight rejects.

Note: Total years of experience must not exceed 4 years.

Job Title : Senior Data Engineer

Experience : 6 to 10 Years

Location : Gurgaon (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH)

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Digital IT team in Gurgaon.

This role involves building scalable data pipelines, managing data architecture, and ensuring smooth data flow across the organization while maintaining high standards of security and compliance.

Mandatory Skills :

Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Cloud Services, SQL, Data Modelling, CI/CD tools, Git, Data Governance, RDBMS & NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch), Data Lake migration.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop secure, scalable end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure services.
• Build and optimize data architectures (including Medallion Architecture).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity, data privacy (e.g., GDPR), and governance.
• Manage structured/unstructured data migration to Data Lake.
• Ensure CI/CD integration for data workflows and version control using Git.
• Identify and integrate data sources (internal/external) in line with business needs.
• Proactively highlight gaps and risks related to data compliance and integrity.

Required Skills :

• Azure Data Factory (ADF) – Mandatory

Job Description: 

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in PostgreSQL and strong RDBMS concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database performance monitoring, optimization, automation, and interaction with development teams to support business requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Database Administration & Management 

• Manage, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases ensuring high availability and reliability. 
• Implement Primary-Slave replication architecture and ensure smooth data synchronization. 
• Work with AWS RDS for PostgreSQL database hosting. 
• Automate database backups and manage release versions for database changes. 
• Implement point-in-time recovery (PITR) backups in AWS RDS to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery. 

2. Performance Monitoring & Optimization 

• Regularly monitor database health and performance metrics. 
• Analyze and optimize slow queries to enhance application performance. 
• Fine-tune database performance using configuration parameters, buffers, connections, Disk IOPs, and memory. 

3. SQL Development & Optimization 

• Write, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, SQL functions, and SQL Views. 
• Implement indexing strategies to improve query performance. 

4. Collaboration & Requirement Analysis 

• Work closely with application developers and business analysts to understand new product requirements. 
• Provide recommendations on database design and architecture for scalable solutions. 

5. Database Security & Compliance 

• Implement best practices for database security, access control, and data integrity. 
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. 

6. Automation & Maintenance 

• Automate database maintenance tasks such as backups, indexing, and archiving.

Technical Expertise Required: 

• 3 to 6 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA). 
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and RDBMS principles. 
• Experience in writing stored procedures, SQL functions, and SQL Views. 
• Hands-on experience in query optimization and performance tuning. 
• Understanding of Primary-Slave architecture and replication setup. 
• Knowledge of database configuration tuning (buffers, connections, Disk IOPs, Memory, etc.).
