Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Developer with Shopify experience, based in Calcutta (in-office). The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications, with a focus on Shopify platforms. The role includes the creation and implementation of responsive, user-friendly interfaces, as well as developing and integrating robust back-end systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals will be a key aspect of this position.

📍 Kolkata (In-Office) | 💰 ₹35,000 – ₹45,000/month

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Shopify
• Expertise in Front-End Development, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience in Back-End Web Development and Full-Stack Development, with an understanding of server-side programming and integration
• Proficient in Shopify development and theme customization
• Performance optimization (LCP, lazy loading, asset optimization)
• Responsive design & cross-browser compatibility
• Experience working with Shopify APIs / webhooks and headless architecture
• Exposure to tools like: Claude Code / OpenAI / Copilot and Automation tools (Zapier, n8n, etc.)
• Can clean up messy Liquid + JS-heavy themes
• Background in Software Development with a focus on creating scalable, efficient solutions
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in e-commerce platform development is a plus

As a product solutions engineer, you will:

1. Analyze recorded runtime issues, diagnose and do occasional code fixes of low to medium complexity
2. Work with developers to find and correct more complex issues
3. Address urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAs
4. Using shell and python scripts, and use scripting to actively automate manual / repetitive activities
5. Build anomaly detectors wherever applicable
6. Pass articulated feedback from customers to the development and product team
7. Maintain ongoing record of the operation of problem analysis and resolution in a on call monitoring system
8. Offer technical support needed in development

• Check the Cmg's and take the requirements from functional consultants and users.
• As per business logic (MD50) do change existing reports and develop the new reports.
• Developing new packages, procedures, functions and updating existing packages and procedures, functions.
• Developing the workflows.
• Developing the API's as per business logic's for data updates.
• Developing the data extraction automation programs (.sql files developments) for data extractions.
• Prepare the test cases and migration documents for migrating objects.

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/ Computers/ Science or Master's in Computer required.
• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience on Oracle Apps Technical.
• Candidates must have hands on experience on Oracle RDF/XML/Pl-SQL Reports, D2k Forms, Workflow, OAF, And functional knowledge on O2C & P2P.
