About the Role

We're looking for a top 0.1% UI/UX designer to join our team.

You'll wear many hats. Your responsibilities will fall into 2 categories:

Web & Mobile UI/UX Design

• Design state-of-the-art mobile & web AI tools.
• Deeply understand user pain points to come up with the best UX that achieves strategic business & product goals.
• Create the most aesthetic, best-in-class UI.

Landing Page & Marketing Materials Design

• Design landing pages that are in the top 0.1% from an aesthetic standpoint.
• Understand product positioning and marketing strategy to develop amazing landing page UX that converts.
• Design marketing materials such as creatives, feature showcases, and more.

Additional Scope

• If you have an interest in wearing many hats, you will have the opportunity to dive into product management, growth hacking, content marketing, and more.

Requirements

• Graduated from top university (ex: IIT).
• 2+ years of industry experience after graduation.
• Exceptional at UX.
• Amazing at UI.
• Experience with marketing, growth hacking, or product management is a plus.
• Must have an exceptional design portfolio to showcase.

Job Responsibilities:

• Excellent English communication.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java applications.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Core Java.

Develop and execute unit tests using JUnit to ensure code quality.

• Manage database connections and queries using JDBC with PostgreSQL.

• Implement and integrate messaging systems with ActiveMQ or RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

• Utilize Redis for caching and optimizing application performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure reliability.

• Follow best practices for software development, including code reviews and version control.

• Proficient in debugging and diagnosing complex, multi-layered bugs in large codebases and custom frameworks.

• Skilled in using software development tools to identify and resolve both isolated and ambiguous issues.

• Demonstrates advanced technical expertise relevant to their role.

• Capable of maintaining and improving existing code while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Preferred Competencies:

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

The Risk team is responsible for overall risk framework and strategy for the organization. The team develops various risk models, arrives at various sector reports from a risk perspective and provides in depth analysis and recommendation around risk profiles of various clients.

In this role, the person is responsible for playing a leadership role in the Risk function to identify, assess, monitor and make timely and measured judgments on all current and potential future risks faced, in order to protect the organization’s interest, assets and reputation of the group along with growing shareholder value and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk for the retail and wholesale portfolio. Should have managed organization level Risk Policies, Credit Underwriting and Collection functions.
• Manage risk framework for the organization - including updating, establishing new risk management mechanisms, to identify, assess, monitor, measure and control a broad spectrum of risks. Ensure all policies and frameworks are kept updated and deployed to the optimum level.
• Develop continuous monitoring and improvement of the quality of the organization's credit and lending portfolio through credit policy direction and implementation.
• Possess a complete understanding the business. Evaluate, improve, and monitor the business, including assisting in reporting to the Board and Board Committees and providing leadership in the effectiveness of credit risk management controls, systems, and processes across the organization.
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts.

• Possess 7+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry in a risk role.
• Exposure to both wholesale and retail risk in a banking environment will be preferred. Some experience in a business / sales role within the banking / NBFC space will be an added advantage.
• Should have held a position of authority in terms of allocation and appropriating limits.
• Sector understanding in financial institution space and good knowledge of interpreting financial trends.
• High proficiency in Python and SQL/NoSQL.
• Experience with big data and cloud computing e.g., PySpark, data lake is a plus.
• Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to speak at various levels of an organization (CXOs to analysts).
• Have demonstrated resilience – stayed with companies and taking businesses to scale, have preferably not ‘hopped jobs. Strong organizational skills and excellent follow-through.

Job description

· You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

· You will follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure code is maintainable, scalable , supportable and demo the software products to stakeholders

· You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions.

· You will work within a team, collaborate and add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals.

· You will assume technical accountability for your specific work products within an application and provide technical support during solution design for new requirements.

· You will be encourage to actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks.

SKILLS

· Expert knowledge of Java/J2EE/MVC based web development. springboot, Angular will be preferred.

· Hands on coding, you will be working in agile scrum teams.

· Ability to learn latest concepts and willing to learn

· Exposure/ Experience on Spring/ Frameworks/ Unit testing/and working knowledge of RDBMS.

· Strong OOPS concepts.

· Experience in working on Core JAVA, J2EE, JEE.

· Strong experience in frameworks with implementation.

· Experience in designing J2EE application (EJB / JMS / Servlets / JSP / jQuery/ JSON/ JavaScript/SQL)

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Science/ IT/ Computing or equivalent

Experience: 2 to 4 years of Java Development experience
