Business Developer

We're hiring a skilled AI Developer to join our growing team at Geo Wave Pvt Ltd, based in Malé, Maldives. You’ll lead the development of smart automation tools, reporting dashboards, and AI systems to optimize our internal operations across fuel, logistics, and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deploy AI-powered business tools
• Implement OCR/NLP solutions for document automation
• Create custom dashboards and backend APIs
• Automate workflows for reporting, inventory, and sales tracking

Must-Have Skills:

Python, Flask/FastAPI, TensorFlow/PyTorch, OCR/NLP, API development

Good-to-Have:

React.js, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP, Docker

Location = Delhi / Bengaluru

Profile = Assistant Manager / Manager - International & Domestic Sourcing (Metal Scraps). This is an urgent requirement.

Below are strict criterias.

1. Should have 4+ years of experience in international & domestic sourcing / purchasing / procurement of Aluminium / Metal / Alloy Scraps of various kinds i.e; Tense, Troma, TT, Zorba.

2.  Should've travelled to international locations for aforesaid sourcing purpose. (not strict).

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the most effective sourcing approach and plan based on the final requirements, including sourcing platforms, acquisition pitch, acquisition funnel, etc.
• Drive the sourcing efforts and ensure the right quality of candidates are sourced based on the requirements and within the committed timelines.
• Communicate role specifications and terms to the candidates clearly and transparently.
• Drive negotiations with the candidates and help resolve their queries and concerns effectively.
• Communicate any specific requests or modifications required by the candidate to the Engagement Manager proactively.
• Ensure a clear track of progress, transparency, and coordination within the Expert team.
• Screen applicants on call to ensure they meet the necessary technical qualifications and requirements for the respective roles.
• Evaluate candidates' technical skills, knowledge, and abilities based on the job description.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain detailed records of candidates' technical evaluations, feedback, and assessment outcomes.
• Generate regular reports on sourcing activities and other relevant data points.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in technical screening methodologies.
• Continuously refine and optimize the technical sourcing process to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in professional Web Development
• Proven software development experience in Core PHP, Codeigniter, WordPress; Laravel is a plus.
• Must have 1+ yrs experience in VueJs or React.Js
  
• Experience in ReactJs, NodeJs is a plus.
• Excellent Software Design and Architecting capabilities
• Complete familiarity with client-side scripting and Angular JS, Ember JS , JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Complete familiarity and expertise in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Expertise in third party API integration - payment gateways, Storage, Streaming services, etc.
• Complete familiarity and experience working with JSON / XML and REST API structure
• Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment technologies such as Bitbucket, Jenkins and Git
• AWS/Google Cloud Deployment is a must; Devops capability is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services.
• Sound Database experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL experience
• A sound knowledge of Object-Oriented (OOPS) Programming & Design Pattern.
• Agile and Iterative (TDD) development expertise.

Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch our product to new clients and onboard them, and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts/schools. Communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

1. Meeting schools and onboarding them
2. Creating and managing top level sales funnel and generate leads
3. Organize and coordinate operations in ways that ensure maximum productivity
4. Managing customer and channel affiliated relationship with client
5. Conducting demos and presentation of the product
6. Monitor sales, marketing & operational activities; implement strategies to maximise channel sales & collections as well as smooth operations.
7. Review your own sales performance, aim to meet or exceed targets
8. Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on the same

1. 5 + years experience in a sales role with schools, preferably in edtech and having a client base ( having direct relationship with the school management) of around 100-150 schools in their region.
2. B.tech/MBA degree.
