Job Overview

We are looking for a female Jr. Purchase Engineer / Jr. Purchase Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the Purchase, Production, and Planning departments, ensuring smooth procurement operations, and maintaining accurate documentation and follow-ups with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Purchase, Production, and Planning departments to ensure timely material procurement.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and on time.
• Conduct regular follow-ups and calls with suppliers to track order status and delivery schedules.
• Maintain and update purchase records, documents, and supplier databases.
• Support vendor development and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Engineering Graduate (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial, etc.) – Fresher or up to 2 years of experience.
• Alternate Qualification: B.Sc., BCA, or B.Com graduates with good communication skills and proficiency in English are also welcome to apply.

Skills Required

• Good computer proficiency, especially in MS Excel and email communication.
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP systems (optional).
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.

• Determine what quality standards are and establish detailed guidelines about what to check
• Create blueprints and documentation for quality assurance

• Develop, implement, audit and update quality standards and quality control systems
• Investigate production and product issues and consider corrective measures to make improvements
• Perform regular quality check tests for the early identification of any potential issues

• Write detailed reports on the corrective actions to take to fix technical issues and production cycle issues
• Ensure compliance with quality specifications by the inspection and testing of materials, equipment, processes and products at different stages
• Collaborate with suppliers, managers and other personnel to meet organisational quality standards
• Coordinate with the organisation's internal teams to improve product quality and meet customer requirements
• Work in coordination with external technicians and quality assurance auditors
• Review customer feedback and implement changes to improve products to increase customer satisfaction

• Stay updated about safety and legal standards and regulations for manufacturing processes and manufactured products
• Monitor and analyse production efforts to optimise them and reduce operational expenses
