Role Overview:

You will translate US structural engineering standards (AISI S100, ASCE 7, IBC) into computational

logic for a structural software platform. You will work directly with US engineering partners and

internal backend engineers.

Core Responsibilities:

- Convert structural design methodologies into mathematical models.

- Define load combinations (wind, snow, seismic).

- Validate member capacity and deflection calculations.

- Review and approve algorithmic structural outputs.

- Develop validation datasets and edge-case scenarios.

- Collaborate with software engineers to implement structural logic.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong understanding of Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) design.

- Experience with AISI S100 and ASCE 7.

- Proficiency with ETABS / STAAD / SAP2000.

- Strong conceptual understanding of load paths and failure modes.

Preferred Skills:

- Basic programming exposure (Python or MATLAB preferred).

- Experience working on international (US) code-based projects.

Education:

B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
