The Challenge

The current AI stack is fragmented, leading to issues with multimodal data, silent webhook failures, unpredictable token usage, and nascent agent-to-agent collaboration. My AI Client is building a unified, robust backend to resolve these issues for the developer community.

Your Mission

As a foundational member of the backend team, you will architect core systems, focusing on:

• Agent Nervous System: Designing agent-to-agent messaging, lifecycle management, and high-concurrency, low-latency communication.
• Multimodal Chaos Taming: Engineering systems to process and understand real-time images, audio, video, and text.
• Bulletproof Systems: Developing secure, observable webhook systems with robust billing, metering, and real-time payment pipelines.

What You'll Bring

Core Experience:

● Typically 3 to 5 years of experience in backend engineering roles.

● Expertise in Python, especially with async frameworks like FastAPI.

● Strong command of Docker and cloud deployment (AWS, Cloud Run, or similar).

● Proven experience designing and building microservice or agent-based architectures.

Specialized Experience (Ideal):

• Real-Time Systems: Experience with real-time media transmission like WebRTC, WebSockets and ways to process them.
• Scalable Systems: Experience in building scalable, fault-tolerant systems with a strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and alerting best practices.
• Reliable Webhooks: Knowledge of scalable webhook infrastructure with retry logic, backoffs, and security.
• Data Processing: Experience with multimodal data (e.g., OCR, audio transcription, video chunking with FFmpeg/OpenCV).
• Payments & Metering: Familiarity with usage-based billing systems or token-based ledgers.

Position: Senior Data Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support cross-functional teams and next-generation data initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on data expert with strong technical proficiency in Big Data technologies and a passion for developing efficient, reliable, and future-ready data systems.

Reporting: Reports to the CEO or designated Lead as assigned by management.

Shift Timings: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable data pipeline architectures for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using modern Big Data frameworks.
• Identify and implement process improvements such as automation, optimization, and infrastructure re-design for scalability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Design teams to resolve data-related challenges and meet infrastructure needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 5+ years of recent experience with Apache Spark, with a strong grasp of distributed systems and Big Data fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Scala, Python, Java, or similar languages, with the ability to work across multiple programming environments.
• Strong SQL expertise and experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Proven experience with Databricks and cloud-based data ecosystems.
• Familiarity with diverse data formats such as Delta Tables, Parquet, CSV, and JSON.
• Skilled in Linux environments and shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
• Experience working within Agile teams.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts is an added advantage.

We are looking for a Senior React Native Engineer to lead the architecture and delivery of high-quality, performant mobile applications. You will be responsible for defining technical foundations, enforcing engineering standards, and ensuring the mobile stack scales reliably as the product and team grow.

This role requires deep expertise in React Native internals, performance optimization, and mobile platform fundamentals, along with strong ownership and mentorship capabilities.

Responsibilities -

• Define and own application architecture, including navigation, state management, data flow, module boundaries, and error handling strategies.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, including TypeScript usage, linting, formatting, testing practices, and commit conventions.
• Own the native module strategy, including Bridges, TurboModules, and JSI, while minimizing native code where possible.
• Set, monitor, and enforce performance budgets, covering TTI, bundle size, memory usage, and UI jank; conduct regular profiling and optimization.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps, including code signing, build flavors, and over-the-air updates using tools like CodePush.
• Establish strong observability practices, including crash reporting, structured logging, analytics, feature flags, and A/B experimentation.
• Lead architecture design reviews and RFCs, providing technical direction and long-term scalability guidance.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive knowledge-sharing across the mobile engineering team.

Requirements

• 5–6 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with strong expertise in React Native.
• Deep understanding of React Native architecture, rendering pipeline, and performance characteristics.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and React fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with state management solutions, navigation libraries, and modular application design.
• Proven experience working with native modules, including Bridges, TurboModules, and JSI.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization, profiling tools, and debugging techniques on iOS and Android.
• Experience setting up and maintaining mobile CI/CD pipelines, including build automation and release workflows.
• Solid understanding of app distribution, code signing, build variants, and OTA update mechanisms.
• Ability to take ownership of features and systems from design through production.
