We're building Sitara, an AI-powered ERP suite that is a suite of micro-apps designed specifically for the service sector. The Opportunity:

We're looking for a passionate Python Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of AI-powered ERP. You'll be instrumental in building Sitara, a product poised to disrupt a massive market with high growth potential.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code for our AI-powered ERP platform.
• Develop and integrate web APIs and interact with SQL databases (NoSQL experience a plus).
• Implement automation using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, multiprocessing, and threading.
• Write clean, well-documented code and actively participate in testing and debugging.
• Leverage Git and modern development workflow practices to ensure a smooth development cycle.
• While not required, familiarity with generative AI concepts (LLMs, RAG) is a plus.

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Self motivated.
• Zeal to learn new things.
• Must be proficient in PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, Javascript, AJAX
• Should have experience with WordPress.
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks like CodeIgnit.

Job Description:

• Understanding of the working of a web-based application.
• Expert Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and their concepts.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3, JavaScript.

Requirements:

• Passionate about building backend systems.

• Desire to explore new ideas, open to other ideas as well.

• Love for writing clean, beautiful, readable and testable code.

• Experience in designing extensible DRY code.

• Our stack is based on Django, Python3 Celery, Angular and Postgres.

• We expect you to have a good understanding of Python. It's even better if you are familiar with some of Git. Django, Celery, Redis and Unix Shell.
