Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who has the following expertise -

● 5+ years of experience in Software Development

● You have an excellent understanding of core development, algorithms, concurrency and server-side experience with knowledge of design patterns. Languages: Java or Golang

● Experience in Java (Spring, SpringBoot, JMX) or Golang

● Experience with Cloud-based technologies such as AWS is a plus.

● Experience with REST microservices, XML/JSON.

● Experience in event driven programming for real time intensive applications.

● Proven ability to produce best in class highly distributed systems.

● Deep understanding of Object Oriented Design and standard design patterns. ● Experience of multi-threaded, 3-tier architectures, web services and caching.

● Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

● Knowledge of Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins is a plus.

● Experience with development in a Unix/Linux environment.

● An interest in continuing your own development across a range of new technologies. ● Ability and willingness to work in a global, fast-paced environment.

● Flexible with the ability to adapt working style to meet objectives.

● Experience with DevOps practices & tools.

Qualifications-

• ​6 years of software development experience in backend

• ​Expertise in design principles and their application

• Set up, manage, automate and deploy AI models in development and production infrastructure.
• Orchestrate life cycle management of AI Models
• Create APIs and help business customers put results of the AI models into operations
• Develop MVP ML learning models and prototype applications applying known AI models and verify the problem/solution fit
• Validate the AI Models
• Make model performant (time and space) based on the business needs

5 years of architecture, design and programming experience preferably in fast-paced dynamic environment

Strong application design and implementation skills, solid understanding of the entire development cycle.

Strong background in Java/J2EE based application

Strong background in Spring/Spring boot based application

Strong background in Microservices based application

Experience working with Apache and/or Tomcat

Experience in transforming requirements to software design

Strong Experience with developing Java SAAS web applications.

Working experience in Industry Standard protocols related API Security including OAuth

Demonstrate strong design and programming skills using JSON, Web Services, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.

Strong background working with Linux/UNIX environments.

Strong Shell scripting experience.

Working knowledge with Oracle, DB2 or MongoDB databases.

 Passion to stay on top of the latest happenings in the tech world and an attitude to discuss and bring those into play.  Strong agile/scrum development experience

 Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams
