About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious Software Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. You will write production-ready code, collaborate directly with senior engineers, and build features used by real users from day one. High performers will be considered for a full-time Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) at the end of the internship.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain clean, scalable frontend or backend features under senior mentorship.
• Write modular, testable code and assist in unit testing and bug fixing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and peers in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Participate in code reviews, tech discussions, and sprint planning.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and core object-oriented/functional programming principles.
• Hands-on experience with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or Go) through personal projects, coursework, or open-source contributions.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Basic familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, fast learning ability, and genuine curiosity about software engineering.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our lean, high-impact engineering team. This is a key founding-team role where you will work closely with the CTO and help build the engineering foundation of the company.

The ideal candidate is a backend-strong full-stack engineer with solid Python and React experience, a strong understanding of AI/LLMs, and the ability to independently take ownership of projects from idea to production.

What You'll Do:

• Build and scale applications across the backend and frontend
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python
• Build and maintain frontend applications using React
• Design and implement AI/LLM-powered applications and features
• Work with AI services and integrate them into real-world applications
• Contribute to system design and architecture
• Work with cloud infrastructure and services
• Take ownership of features and initiatives from ideation to production
• Identify problems and proactively drive solutions without requiring constant direction
• Work closely with the CTO and founding team to shape engineering practices and future systems
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

• 3–6 years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Python
• Good hands-on experience with React
• Strong backend development experience with full-stack exposure
• Practical understanding of AI, LLMs and AI services
• Experience building at least one meaningful AI project beyond basic API/chatbot integrations
• Experience taking an AI/ML application or feature into production is preferred
• Exposure to cloud platforms
• Good understanding of system design and software architecture
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple language
• Genuine hands-on experience with the technologies mentioned on the resume

What Makes This Role Different:

This is not a typical execution-focused engineering role. We are building a lean "A-team" of experienced engineers who will eventually help shape the team and take on senior/leadership responsibilities.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including security, reliability, testing, and code quality.
• Experience with system design, architecture, and technical decision-making.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers is a plus.

About the Role

Tech stack (expertise in all is not required, experience in some will be sufficient):

For this role we are looking for engineers with an entrepreneurial mindset, an understanding of how startups operate and who like to get their hands dirty when unknown things come their way. You will work closely with the product team to prioritise and ship features with a predictable cadence.

As this role is full-stack, you need to have a good understanding of frontend design and be obsessed with responsiveness and pixel-perfect behaviour. On the backend side, an OCD for efficiency and optimisation is a required personality trait.

Demonstrated history of solving hard problems (frontend/backend or both) is a great-to- have.
