Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate

will have 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a strong understanding

of software  development principles and methodologies. The Java Developer will be

responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that

meet our clients' needs.

Your key responsibilities and major tasks include, but are not limited to

• As a backend Java developer, you will work within a specific problem space critical to Telstra’s current needs where you will design, develop, and deploy backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability, and low latency.

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

Essential skills and Experience

• 3 years – 7 years year experience in this area
• Must have strong Java programming background (preferably Java 8+)​
• Preferred Frameworks – Spring Boot​
• Unit Testing, Integration testing and Automated testing. ​
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment​
• Microservices development – HTTP, REST API​ design and implementation​
• Comfortable to operate in an agile, dynamic environment​.

About Us

Developing a state of the art store front customized to the community and a user friendly interface to unlock the digital growth of companies in the gaming, art, music, etc space by leveraging the power of NFTs. Requirements

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by a front-end developers with server side logic

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Node.js. Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors, such as LESS and SASS
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform

POSITION
