Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior/ Lead Software Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be proficient in various backend technologies and frameworks. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems. The candidate should be comfortable working in a Linux environment and have hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL

databases, as well as modern containerization and orchestration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.

• Implement and manage database solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Work with Hibernate for ORM (Object-Relational Mapping).

• Develop and manage caching mechanisms with Redis.

• Implement messaging and streaming solutions using Kafka.

• Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.

• Perform system designing to ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of applications.

• Design and develop microservices or monolithic architectures based on project requirements.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience.

• Write clean, scalable code using Java programming languages.

• Revise, update, and debug code.

• Improve existing software.

• Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Vert.x.

• Proficient in using Hibernate for ORM.

• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems.

• Hands-on experience with Git version control system.

• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience with Redis for caching.

• Practical knowledge of Kafka for messaging and streaming.

• Proficiency with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration.

Sureify drives customer engagement between the customer and their insurance company by incorporating web & mobile apps, into the insurance product experience. Our product is controlled by our backend dashboard so insurers can get the latest IoT data streaming in. The SaaS platform is designed to ensure that insurers never miss opportunities to increase engagement with their existing customer base.

We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works. On the backend, you will have the opportunity to help our product scale and be involved in the further architecture of the Sureify platform.

Skills And Qualifications

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• 2+ years of experience with Full-Stack web development
• Proficient in PHP or Python or Golang.
• Experience in Golang is an added advantage.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Use test-driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Experience with building restful JSON web services
• Knowledge of APIs, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of experience with software development, preferably in Agile environment.
• Advanced knowledge of in software development tools, programming languages, databases, and environments, including but not limited to:
  • Python 3.x, Django, functional Python, procedural Python, object oriented Python, Asynchronous Design, Micro Services, memcache, REDIS, Celery, ElastiSearch, RESTful web services, Relational (Oracle & MySQL) and Non-Relational (NOSQL & DynamoDB) databases, AWS.

Job Description

We are looking for a candidate who is a creative problem solver, will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our next-generation websites and web tools. It is a technological position where excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle is a must to develop new projects and support the existing ones.

Skills:

• At least 2 years experience as a Node.JS developer
• Extensive knowledge of Javascript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum
• Knowledge of Node.js frameworks available for it such as Express, Loopback, Nest.JS)
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• Knowledge of typescript.

Responsibilities:

High Level JD:
