Backend Developer - Node JS

Key Skills and Requirements

· Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and Express.js

· Bachelor Degree in Computer Science OR in related field B.sc - IT/ BCA /MCA/B.Tech/M.Tech

· Programming experience in Web Application development with Node.js and Express.js

· Must have experience in JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js or have extensive exposure in any MVC framework

· Expert in MySQL and Store Procedures

· Knowledge of REST API / Web API protocol

· Understanding HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, JSON, OOPs well enough

· Good to have: React Js.

· Strong coding skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to write clear, concise, well-structured, and well-organized code

· Experience with third-party libraries and APIs(Zoho, Leadsquared, Knowlarity, Exotel, LCode, Karza, Google API, DIGIO, etc)

· Ability to identify weaknesses in existing code and improve it

Plus but not required

· A plus if you have Slide experience with Git Command lines.

· A plus if you have any experience with Github, Gitlab, Bitbucket.

· A plus if you have any experience with UI Design

· A plus if you have any experience with PHP, CodeIgniter

· A plus if you have any experience with React JS/Angular JS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

· Work with outside data sources and APIs

· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Roles and responsibilities:

• 3+ years of experience in GoLang development
• Strong knowledge of the Go programming language with an object-oriented programming model.
• Experience and proficiency in building multithreaded applications in Golang is mandatory.
• Implementing REST API interfaces and database operations, with unit & integration testing
• Understanding of Go Routine and Channel patterns.
• Knowledge of Go frameworks and tools.
• Experience with dependency management tools such as Go Modules.
• Experience with Stringer, Gos code generation tools
• Understanding of Gos templating language
• Understanding of Popular Go web frameworks, such as Revel
• Ability to write clean and effective Go doc comments.
• Familiarity with AWS services integrations (i.e. Lambda, API Gateway etc)
• Understanding the fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and programming skills
• Demonstrated ability to define and drive adoption of software development best practices, standards, processes, and methodologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to listen effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of applications.
• The candidate is expected to write code himself/herself.
• The candidate is expected to write high level code, code review, unit testing and deployment.
• Practical application of design principles with a focus on the user experience, usability, template designs, cross browser issues and client server concepts.
• Contributes to the development of project estimates, scheduling, and deliverables.
• Works closely with QA team to determine testing requirements to ensure full coverage and best quality of product.

Requirements:

• BE/B. Tech. Computer Science or MCA from a reputed University.
• 3.5 - 6.5 Years of experience in software development, with emphasis on JAVA/J2EE Server side programming.
• Hands on experience in Core Java, Multithreading, RMI, Socket programing, JDBC, NIO, webservices and Design patterns.
• Should have Knowledge of distributed system, distributed caching, messaging frameworks ESB etc.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system and PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB/Cassandra database is essential.
• Additionally, knowledge of HBase, Hadoop and Hive are desirable.
• Familiarity with message queue systems and AMQP and Kafka is desirable.
• Should have experience as a participant in Agile methodologies.
• Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
