Roles and responsibilities : Following are the role and responsibilities for backend developer. 1. He/she is responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work front-end developers do. 2. Deliver given work in time. 3. Participate in the entire application life-cycle, focusing on coding and debugging. 4. Write clean code to develop functional web applications. 5. Troubleshoot and debug applications 6. Perform UI tests to optimize performance 7. Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic 8. Provide training to new people in team and support to internal teams. 9. Build reusable code and prepare a document of code for future use. 10. Learn advance technologies as and when required. Role
You will be responsible for architecting and setting the standards for building our core backend/microservices. Also, you will be responsible for shaping up the entire system for scale and collaborating intensively with the frontend and design teams to create the best consumer experiences.

Responsibilities
● Develop microservices that will be used by the frontend through API endpoints.
● Translate business requirements into high quality code.
● Ensure that the code is deployed in a secure and scalable fashion.
● Focus on code maintainability and performance of application.
● Provide technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.
● Enhance Analytics and overall backend architecture for better performance.

Requirements
● At least 1 years of experience on ​NodeJS
● Practical experience in building ​APIs
● Experience with ​RabbitMQ​ or similar queuing system
● Experience with ​Redis/ElasticSearch​ is a plus
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools like ​Jenkins
● Practical experience with ​Git
● A knack for benchmarking and optimization
● Experience with ​AWS​ services is a plus

***Client works for 6 days a week***

The developer needs to have worked on NodeJS, DotNet and should be able to work independently. Working hours are mostly 9 hours a day and 5 days a week.

Ideal Candidate Profile
● Solid experience in RoR, Golang, NodeJS or Python. Good to have exposure to ML.
● Should have experience in cloud computing
● Has an ability to quickly learn and contribute in multiple codebase
● Overcomes roadblocks and requires minimal oversight
● Takes initiatives to fix issues/tech debts before assigned to him/her
● Able to deep dive into codebase and advise QA of possible regression impact
● Communicates tech decisions through design docs and tech talks
● Has delivered projects with end-to-end accountability
● Keeps track of industry trends and introduces right tech/tools for a given job
● Excellent understanding of software engineering practices, Design Patterns, Data
Structures, Algorithms
● 8+ years of experience in product driven organization
● A Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering from a reputed institute (preferably
IITs, NITs, or other top engineering institutes)

4 years+ experience in full stack development
Highly proficient in JavaScript, Node.js and Vue.js

• Good foundation in CS fundamentals – algorithms, data structures
• Strong design and data modeling skills
• Good understanding of SQL and NOSQL databases
• Good concepts of object oriented programming and design patterns
