About Role:

The Senior Python Developer will lead the design and implementation of ACL crawler connectors for Workato’s search platform. This role requires deep expertise in building scalable Python services, integrating with various SaaS APIs and designing robust data models. The developer will mentor junior team members and ensure that the solutions meet the technical and performance requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture and design: Translate business requirements into technical designs for ACL crawler connectors. Define data models, API interactions and modular components using the Workato SDK.
• Implementation: Build Python services to authenticate, enumerate domain entities and extract ACL information from OneDrive, ServiceNow, HubSpot and GitHub. Implement incremental sync, pagination, concurrency and caching.
• Performance optimisation: Profile code, parallelise API calls and utilise asynchronous programming to meet crawl time SLAs. Implement retry logic and error handling for network‑bound operations.
• Testing and code quality: Develop unit and integration tests, perform code reviews and enforce best practices (type hints, linting). Produce performance reports and documentation.
• Mentoring and collaboration: Guide junior developers, collaborate with QA, DevOps and product teams, and participate in design reviews and sprint planning.
• Hypercare support: Provide Level 2/3 support during the initial rollout, troubleshoot issues, implement minor enhancements and deliver knowledge transfer sessions.

Must Have Skills and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3-8 years of Python development experience, including asynchronous programming and API integration.
• Knowledge of python libraries-pandas,pytest,requests,asyncio
• Strong understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, API keys) and access‑control models.
• Experience with integration with cloud or SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Graph, ServiceNow REST API, HubSpot API, GitHub API.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear documentation.

Optional/Good to Have Skills and Experiences:

• Experience with integration with Microsoft Graph API, ServiceNow REST API, HubSpot API, GitHub API.
• Familiarity with the following libraries, tools and technologies will be advantageous-aiohttp,PyJWT,aiofiles / aiocache
• Experience with containerisation (Docker), CI/CD pipelines and Workato’s connector SDK is also considered a plus.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Java + Kotlin Developer to join our growing engineering team. You’ll be responsible for building scalable backend systems and modern Kotlin-based applications, with opportunities to work on both Android and server-side development.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

The Engineering Manager (EM)is responsible for a managing a team of full stack engineers that is building highly innovative and cutting edge solutions. This role is accountable for leading a team, developing code, deploying and managing in production. Most importantly, the EM, while working with the Product owners drives the product Net promoter score (NPS), user satisfaction, building the product roadmap and delivering highly functional, exceptionally innovative and intelligent software. You’ll have a strong focus on team management and development, equal focus will be on writing production code and hands on active development of the capabilities and solutions. Assist in defining infrastructure need and use enterprise solution and drive resolution of technology roadblocks including code, infrastructure, build and deployment. Manage overall software development cycle by adhering to development and security standards. Establish good stakeholder communication and work closely with Product teams and influence set product roadmap and help drive requirements while being a strong advocate of extreme agile and DevOps practices across engineers. Build and manage a team of high performing full stack engineers and provide leadership, coaching, motivation and recommend staffing levels, operating procedures, tools and systems for the team. Provide career development and performance management to a team of engineers.

Required Candidate Profile

• 4 year degree in or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of engineering (software development) experience
• 1-3 years of managing teams with a strong track record of delivery for cross-functional product experience with Cloud hosting and managing products
• Proficient in building high performing APIs and writing specs
• Expertise in programming languages. Hands on experience in Java, J2ee technologies is preferred.
• Experience in SAP Hybris Commerce would be a plus
• Experience with integration, data handling technologies and other open source frameworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to variety of audiences
• Team-orientated, passionate about developing others’ skills and capabilities
• Successful track record of working in large scale technology solutions
