Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Python Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python-based applications, implementing new features and functionalities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

●    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features

●    Write clean and efficient Python code to develop high-quality software applications

●    Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance

●    Develop and maintain software documentation

Requirements:

●    A degree in Computer Science or a related field

●    Knowledge of Python programming language and its frameworks such as Django, Flask, etc.

Job Description:

· Implement a robust set of services and APIs to power the back-end application

· Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

· Implementation of security and data protection

· Follow and understand architecture design and implementation on
development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

· Conduct reviews and conduct team training on the complex features of NodeJS.

· Analyze business/functional requirements and translate them into
concrete tasks

· Manage Product releases

Skill Set Required:

· Knowledge on NodeJs or any NodeJS frameworks

· Good knowledge of Relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB)

· Exposure to Cloud Environments like AWS, MS Azure or Google Cloud

· Knowledge of an interest in Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum

· Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)

Type: Individual contributor with good hands on proficiency. 

Must have

What will you do at Tradyl:

• Build a shipping service module that is called by our website to query shipping rates from India to a destination country. Configure this to so that an Ops person can update shipping costs as and when they change. Own deployment and monitoring of this service. 
• Use Zapier to build a workflow to export a MixPanel report into a Google sheet every day.
• Change our supplier portal (built on bubble.io) to make an API call to our customer facing site, whenever a supplier modifies his profile.
• Write an alert mechanism that identifies catalogues with insufficient information and makes them non discoverable, which can run every day.
• Work with Business Team to design a workflow for product inwarding using Airtable. Write a small app within Airtable so that whenever a product is updated as “shipped” in airtable, it updates the customer facing website.
• Use an open source dashboarding framework to create a quick dashboard to track important business events. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• As a backend developer, your primary focus will be the development of all server-side systems
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well. You will test, secure and deploy your code
• Work experience on Node.js is a must along with a server-side framework like Express.js
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript
• Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Experience and proficiency integrating with REST APIs
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience in working with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.
• AgileScrum development cycle understanding.

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years of experience developing backends using NodeJS should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds.
• Good knowledge of MongoDB(Must) & any other MySQL Database.
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases.
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs.
• Knowledge and working experience in Cloud environment - AWS or Azure
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks.
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter without any fear of trying out new things
