Role: .NET Developer

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Post-secondary degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline, or equivalent working experience.
• Development of distributed applications with Microsoft technologies: C# .NET/Core, SQL Server, Entity Framework.
• Deep expertise with microservices architectures and design patterns.
• Cloud Native AWS experience with services such as Lambda, SQS, RDS/Aurora, S3, Lex, and Polly.
• Mastery of both Windows and Linux environments and their use in the development and management of complex distributed systems architectures.
• Git source code repository and continuous integration tools.
• Proficient with debugging and profiling distributed systems.

• Experience in API development using Java will be a plus.

• Excellent knowledge and experience in writing testable, scalable, flexible, robust and efficient web applications using JavaEE 6/7 technologies, specifically, Spring core, Spring Boot Spring Data, spring batch and JPA
• Experience in successfully deploying Java-based applications in production and understanding load-balancing, authentication, and fault tolerance through Tom Cat.
• Experience in database modeling (MySQL/NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB)

• Knowledge of integrating with Ant, Maven, GIT and Shell scripting.
• Strong backend experience to develop Data Layer using at least one of the ORM frameworks like Hibernate, JPA etc.
• Strong RDBMS Skills and SQL skills. Experience in MySQL, Teradata and warehousing databases.

• Experience in Analytics frameworks and visualization products.

• Excellent knowledge and experience of Maven, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery with Jenkins.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular is a definite plus.

Java 8, J2EE , Spring Boot, Microservices, Apache Spark, DevOps, Advanced SQL, preferably with

expertise in Data engineering/Data analytics,

ELK(Elastic Search, Logstash , Kibana) stack, Teradata, any No SQL database, Hands on experience in

maintaining products on Cloud Technologies like PCF, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, etc, NodeJS,

Angular 2x, GitLab with CI/CD, Hands on experience in Unix server, Shell scripting, Large data

processing, Performance tuning, Experience in working in various Test Automation frameworks like

Selenium, Test NG, Python, Cucumber, Karma, Karate/ Jasmine, etc

Experience in using Eclipse, Spring tool suite, Project building tools - Maven, Gradle, etc, JIRA for ALM.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable products
• Participate in code reviews, and design discussions to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
• Pair with team members for functional and non-functional requirements to write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
• Help to define roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
• Understand business requirements and work closely with the business to provide solutions

Eligibility

• Strong expertise in Backend Python Development with skills to create APIs, integrate the functions into UI, and store and retrieve data from a variety of databases.
• Strong experience with Django/Flask.
• Strong experience in writing unit tests.
• B.Tech/B.E (Preferred CSE)

We’re looking for a Lead Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building web services to join our engineering team to help architect, build and run our growing list of products. You should have prior experience being responsible for building sufficiently complex products/services and mentoring software engineers.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead a team of engineers working on our product roadmap. You are expected to contribute to feature development with hands-on development tasks
• Oversee software architecture, source control workflows, and CI/CD processes and perform code reviews to ensure exceptional code quality
• Improve the development experience and the quality of the codebase. You will define and uphold best practices and coding standards for the team
• Responsible for architecture and design decisions
• Own stability and performance of the service that you work on
• Work with the Engineering Manager to ship stable software on time
• Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your area of expertise

Requirements: 

• 2+ years of experience in a technical lead role designing and building complex backend systems
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Excellent knowledge of best practices and coding patterns
• Deep knowledge of backend programming languages like Python and web application frameworks like Django
• Solid experience in building web services using relational databases like PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB
• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform or Azure
• Extensive experience with Linux/UNIX production environments
• Strong sense of quality in terms of both program architecture and code style
• Passion to dig into technically complex problems to troubleshoot and figure out a solution
• Desire to continuously improve and ship the best quality product
• Pragmatic approach to make sure technical decisions align with actual business needs. 
• Good understanding of the trade-offs when building for product value, reliability, or performance
