Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain UI components using JavaScript, Next.js, Lit.js, and TypeScript, ensuring modularity and reusability.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to create responsive, high-performance web applications.
• Optimize UI performance by implementing Core Web Vitals best practices.
• Implement Technical SEO strategies, including structured data, metadata optimization, and server-side rendering (SSR) improvements.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG standards), and mobile-first design principles.
• Work on web performance optimization using Lighthouse and DevTools.
• Integrate frontend components with headless CMS (e. g., Strapi) and backend APIs.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and SonarQube analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues, collaborating with QA engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Lit.js .
• Experience in Technical SEO, including schema markup, page speed optimization, and SEO-friendly UI development.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, and DevTools for performance analysis.
• Understanding of Web Components and modular frontend architecture.
• Experience integrating frontend with CMS platforms like Strapi.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development processes.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

 Drawing & Documentation Support:

o Assist in the preparation of initial drafts for façade drawings and technical

documents as directed by senior team members.

o Make revisions to drawings and specifications based on feedback from the design

team.

 Technical Learning & Application:

o Actively learn and apply company standards, project specifications, and fundamental

engineering principles.

o Gain a working knowledge of local building codes and various façade materials.

 Team Collaboration:

o Support the design team in day-to-day project tasks.

o Maintain and organize design files, records, and project correspondence to ensure

information is accurate and accessible.

 Quality Adherence:

o Assist in basic quality checks of drawings to ensure they meet required standards

before formal review.

Mandatory Candidate Profile:

 Education: A Bachelor's degree/Diploma in (Civil /Mechanical) Engineering or Architecture is

required.

 Experience: 0-2 years of experience. Recent graduates with a strong academic record and a

demonstrated interest in structural or façade design are encouraged to apply.

 Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) is mandatory. The

candidate must possess a strong willingness to learn advanced design tools.

Reporting Structure:

 The position reports directly to the Façade Designer or a Senior Façade Designer.

As a backend engineer you will be responsible for building the Haptik platform which is used by people across the globe. You will be responsible for developing, architecting and scaling the systems that support all the functions of the Haptik platform. While you know how to work hard, you also know how to have fun at work and make friends with your colleagues.

• Practical knowledge of in-memory data stores like Redis or Memcached.
• Familiarity with working in agile environments and exposure to tools like Jira is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
