Senior Process and Proposal Engineer (Machine Manufacturing)

Qualification:  B.E. Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical / Chemical Engineer

Required Skills:

 Good knowledge of AutoCAD with hands-on drafting experience.

 Experience in Pharma Equipment Industry preferred.

 Knowledge of process vessels, liquid manufacturing, ointment manufacturing, and sugar syrup systems.

 Familiarity with ASME, API, TEMA, and PED standards will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

 Prepare GA Drawings, P&ID Drawings, and Layout Drawings using AutoCAD.

 Design and draft process equipment such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and Storage Tanks.

 Prepare mechanical data sheets, BOQ, BOM, and project costing.

 Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.  Prepare technical and commercial proposals/quotations.

 Coordinate with clients and internal departments for project execution and proposal preparation.

 Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and are cost-effective.

 Modify and revise designs to improve performance and resolve technical issues.

• Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 6+ YOE in design project management.
• Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have 2+ yrs of team lead experience (design team of 3+ designers)
• Mandatory (Skills 1) – Should also expertise in handling multiple parallel projects
• Mandatory (Skills 2) – Must have strong client management and business development skills, including taking creative briefs, strategy pitching, scope/proposal creation, and project and client acquisition.
• Mandatory (Skills 3) – Should have experience in Project management: scheduling, planning, budgeting, billing cycles, reporting, and seamless coordination across design, strategy, accounts, and content teams.
