In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and improving the reliability of our software delivery pipelines.

KeyResponsibilities:

 1: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments.

 2: Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure and servers.

 3: Automate build, testing, and deployment processes.

 4: Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve release cycles.

 5: Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

 6: Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.

 7: Implement security best practices in DevOps workflows.

RequiredSkills:

 1: Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.

 2: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization technologies.

 3: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

 4: Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

 5: Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or Shell).

 6: Good understanding of Linux systems and networking concepts.

●              Work with application development teams to identify and understand their operational pain points.

●              Document these challenges and define goals to be achieved by the infrastructure team.

●              Prototype and evaluate multiple solutions, often by experimenting with various vendors and tools available, to achieve the goals undertaken.

●              Experience in working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc).

●              Strong Linux Shell scripting experience

●              Experience with one of the programming languages like Python, Java, Kotlin, etc.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our Centre of Excellence to build and scale effective software solutions for our Ecommerce Domain.

Wondering what your Responsibilities would be?

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

• Provide full support to the software development teams to deploy, run and roll out new services and new capabilities in Cloud infrastructure

• Implement CI/CD and DevOps best practices for software application teams and assist in executing the integration and operation processes

• Build proactive monitoring and alerting infrastructure services to support operations and system health

• Be hands-on in developing prototypes and conducting Proof of Concepts

• Work in an agile, collaborative environment, partnering with other engineers to bring new solutions to the table

• Join the DevOps Chapter where you’ll have the opportunity to investigate and share information about technologies within the DevOps Engineering Community

What Makes you Eligible?

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering with appropriate experience

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as DevOps Engineer

• Experience in working with a DevOps culture, following Agile Software Development methodologies of Scrum

• Proven experience in source code management tools like Bitbucket and Git

• Solid experience in CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins

• Shown ability with configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes) and repository tools like Artifactory

• Experience in Cloud architecture & provisioning

• Knowledge in Programming / Querying NoSQL databases

Technical Skills: 

·        In depth understanding of DevSecOps process and governance

• Responsible for managing applications on public cloud (AWS) infrastructure.

• Responsible for setting up monitoring for cloud/cloud-native-based infrastructure and applications.
• MUST: AWS Solution Architect Professional certification.

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer that will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead ( and/or CTO ) to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.

You will help us build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure. You’ll implement monitoring for automated system health checks. Lastly, you’ll build our CI pipeline, and train and guide the team in DevOps practices.
