Automation Test Engineer-6 Months Contract-to-hire

Job Summary:

Wadhwani Foundation is looking for a  Senior Mobile Application Developer to drive the development and enhancement of our mobile clients (iOS and Android). The developer will design the entire app lifecycle right from PoC stage until delivery and post launch support. In this role, you will design and build, high performance, user-friendly and secure mobile applications.

As a Senior Mobile Application developer, you will work closely with engineering and product teams to deliver a seamless mobile experience. You will play a key role in ensuring that our mobile apps meet high standards for usability, performance, security across both platforms and serves beneficiaries in multiple countries.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead development and delivery of cross-platform (Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native) mobile applications.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain application.
• Mentor junior engineers, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices in mobile development.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with App Store and Google Play deployment processes, including provisioning, certificate management, release automation, beta testing and compliance.
• Experience developing reusable or cross-platform components using technologies like Kotlin Multiplatform, , React Native or Flutter.
• Integrate apps with backend APIs, ensuring secure data handling and high performance.
• Proficient in debugging, profiling, and optimizing performance for mobile applications on both platforms.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and deliver on deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:

• 5~8 years of professional experience in mobile application development, with a strong track record on Kotlin multi-platform and React Native.
• Should be well versed with the concepts of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• A sound understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and should have published multiple native apps.
• Experience with relational databases (SQLite), web services and API integration.
• Exposure to internationalization/localization for multi-country and multi-lingual deployments.
• Ability to evaluate and adopt new frameworks, libraries, and tools to keep the technology stack up to date.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with our team of developers to design and build innovative Android applications.
2. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Kotlin, Android, and Java.
3. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and usability of our apps.
4. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in mobile app development.
5. Assist with the documentation and maintenance of code repositories.
6. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving our app development processes.
7. Take on ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed to support the overall success of the team.

Points to Note:

1. Only candidates from technical backgrounds like B.Tech/M. Tech (CS) & BCA, and MCA will be shortlisted.
2. It is important to ensure that you have successfully completed an internship or relevant projects in Android development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and building mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
• Maintain clean coding practices
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
• Supporting product owners as required
• Providing support to the testing team during testing phases of the projects
• Contributing to solution proposals as required
• Creating work effort estimates as required
• Mentor, train on the best practices junior software associates and other team members.

Key Competencies (Functional):

• Proven experience as an app developer.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.
• Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
• Knowledge of iOS back-end services.
• Knowledge of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
• Knowledge of C-based libraries.
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.
• Experience with continuous integration.

About the Role: Lead the Demand, Pricing & Yield Management for our largest and strategically important region and will help

sustain and grow the vision of improving the yield strategy of our portfolio. Manage the monetization of inventory, create

performance metrics that demonstrate our value to owners and monitor compliance of pricing strategies and adoption across

the portfolio. You are comfortable tackling obstacles using quantitative analysis and lead the team in the right direction to

achieve targets tapping into different online and offline channels.

Job Responsibilities:

● Responsible for managing OTA's channels

● Generating sales from direct & indirect channels (Online & Offline)

● Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets

● Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities

● Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction/experience

● Responsible for establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.

Qualification and Experience:

● Bachelor/ Master's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in sales is required.

Hospitality experience is a plus

passion for building and delivering great software with a strong sense of ownership.

• 4+ years of experience in building web applications using React, Node.js, GraphQL integrations with NoSQL or relational database systems.
• Working experience in building and deployment applications on AWS platform a plus.
• Working experience on docker and microservice a plus.
• Strong experience with Build and Release, Agile processes and Estimation/Planning
• Must have strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with solid understanding of logging and exception handling.
