Position Overview:

As a Shopify Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and customization of Shopify themes. Your expertise in HTML5, SASS/CSS3, and JavaScript, coupled with proficiency in VueJS or React, will drive the creation of dynamic and responsive web designs. Operating within EST and GMT work times, you will utilize CI/CD frameworks and pipelines to streamline development processes, emphasizing performance optimization techniques such as FCP, CLS, and LCP. Your familiarity with Shopify site architecture and integration with third-party apps like Algolia and Boost will enable you to implement custom solutions tailored to clients' needs.

Additionally, your strong grasp of Liquid code and Shopify JS APIs will facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of front-end technical challenges, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adherence to performance budgets. Your ability to work both independently and collaboratively, coupled with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills, will be invaluable in driving the success of our projects. While certification and experience with Shopify Plus and API development are advantageous, your dedication to understanding technical architecture and delivering end-to-end project implementations will be key to your success in this role.

• Ability to understand anything that uses JSON REST/ GraphQL API.

• Proficiency in working with different Shopify JS APIs, Strong in Liquid code.

• Offering expertise in troubleshooting and resolution of front-end-related technical problems, guiding the team through complex technical challenges.

• A thorough understanding of Shopify admin/backend system and cross-browser compatibility issues

• A strong understanding of responsive web design techniques

• Should be able to do unit testing.

Required Qualifications:

• Shopify certification

• Experience with Shopify Plus store development.

• Strong in API development and customization, App Development using PHP/Laravel or any scripting language.

• Hands on experience in integrating API/web services.

• Shopify End to end project implementation.

• Ability to understand the technical architecture design of the solution

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering,Environmental Science or related field

5+ years in Product Management in Agritech and environmental technologies

Experience with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management

Strong understanding of data-driven decision making and KPI tracking

Experience with A/B testing methodologies

Responsibilities and duties

• Create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site
• Regularly produce various content types, including email, social media posts, blogs, and white papers
• Actively manage and promote our blog, and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms
• Edit content produced by other members of the team
• Analyze content marketing metrics and makes changes as needed
• Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the execution of manual testing procedures to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications.
• Create and execute test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Document test results, defects, and issues encountered during testing.
• Work collaboratively with developers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Participate in test plan and test case reviews to ensure thorough test coverage.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
• Support the QA team in various tasks and projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in computer science, information technology, or related field.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?

• Driving the success of the software engineering team at Datamotive.

• Collaborating with senior and peer engineers to prioritize and deliver features on the roadmap.

• Build strong development team with focus on building optimized & usable solutions.

• Research, Design & Develop distributed solution to handle workload mobility across multi & hybrid clouds

• Assist in Identifying, Researching & Designing newer features and cloud platform support in areas of disaster recovery, data protection, workload migration etc.

• Assist in building product roadmap.

• Conduct pilot tests to assess the functionality of newly developed programs.

• Front facing customers for product introduction, knowledge transfer, solutioning, bugs triaging etc.

• Assist customers by giving product demos, conducting POCs, trainings etc.

• Manage Datamotive infrastructure, bring innovative automation for optimizing infrastructure usage through monitoring and scripting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• 3 – 8 years of experience in software development with relevant domain understanding of Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Ransomware Recovery.

• A strong understanding and demonstrable experience with at least one of the major public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure or VMware)

• A strong understanding and experience of designing and developing architecture of complex, distributed systems.

• Insights into development of client-server SaaS applications with good breadth across networking, storage, micro-services, and other web technologies.

• Experience of building and leading strong development teams with systems product development background

• Programming knowledge in either of GO Lang, C, C++, Python or Shell script.

• Should be a computer science graduate with strong fundamentals & problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of virtualization, storage and cloud platforms like VMware, AWS, GCP, Azure and/or Kubernetes will be preferable

Technical Proficiency:
Experience in leading self-service offering to business users. Tableau experience in Architecture, Administration and development is must.

• Experience in supporting and administration of middleware software systems in an enterprise setting. Excellent troubleshooting skills in a complex enterprise environment.
• Hadoop / Big Data domain experience is required, as is exposure to ecosystem technologies such as Hive, Impala and Spark.
  Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and experience required
• Scripting experience in Linux shell scripting and Python.
• Good SQL skills.
• Integrate/roll-out/administer/sustain/upgradeour installations of vendor BI products on Linux.
