
Roles & Responsibilities – Pre-Sales (Poly / Polycom & Aruba)
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Poly (Polycom) collaboration solutions and Aruba networking solutions.
- Conduct customer meetings, technical discussions, requirement gathering, and solution discovery sessions for enterprise, education, healthcare, and corporate environments.
- Design end-to-end solutions for video conferencing, audio conferencing, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, wireless presentation, and unified communication environments using Poly products.
- Design Aruba-based networking solutions including Wi-Fi, switching, network security, SD-Branch, network access control, and cloud-managed networking.
- Prepare high-level and low-level solution architectures, bill of materials (BOM), compliance documents, and technical proposals.
- Provide technical support during RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and bid submissions, ensuring alignment with customer specifications.
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technical presentations to customers and partners.
- Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams for solution validation, pricing support, and technical clarifications.
- Assist in sizing, capacity planning, and interoperability assessments for collaboration and network infrastructure projects.
- Support the sales team in positioning competitive advantages of Poly and Aruba solutions against other OEMs.
- Ensure proposed solutions adhere to customer network standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
- Maintain updated knowledge of Poly collaboration portfolio, Microsoft Teams ecosystem, Zoom interoperability, Aruba Central, Aruba CX switches, Aruba wireless, and related technologies.
- Participate in technical workshops, partner enablement programs, and OEM certification activities.
- Provide post-proposal technical clarification and support during project handover to the implementation team.
- Track opportunities, maintain technical documentation, and update CRM/pre-sales activity records as required.
