Key Skills

1. Extensive knowledge of mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s).

2. Deep knowledge of mobile platforms on which the app runs, e.g., Android, iOS etc.

3. Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, React Native, Node whichever language you use in the app.

4. Proficiency with writing automated tests in JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, XCTest, etc. depending on the libraries you use to test

5. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile libraries for networking.

6. Familiarity with the JSON format.

7. Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications.

8. Strong knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture—and the ability to choose the best solution for the app.

9. Familiarity with Git and Github.

10. Familiarity with push notifications.

11. Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences.

Our team is looking for experienced mobile developers to lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications and be responsible for major technical decisions associated with them accountable for their successful execution. 

In this position on the software engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to many client and internal-facing products. FarmSetu’s suite of products spans multiple technical domains and disciplines in software and hardware, so experience in end-to-end systems thinking across distributed components is key for this role.

• Design, implement and deploy mobile applications

FarmSetu’s technology stack includes (but will not be limited to) Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, GraphQL, Hasura, React, Flutter, Dart, Postgres, Celery, Docker, Git/Bitbucket to be deployed on Digitalocean/GCP infrastructure. • 2+ years of experience developing applications at an enterprise scale using the mobile technologies in our stack

As a Mobile Software Developer, your primary objective will be to design and build mobile applications for iOS platforms while actively participating in application design discussions and decisions. You will be an integral part of the development and maintenance of the company's products. You will utilize your expertise and your familiarity with iOS and XCode. Additionally, experience with Agile or XP methodologies or related iterative development processes will be necessary to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact. We are looking for a React Native developers between 1 to 3years of experience interested in building performant mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms. You will be responsible for architecting and building these applications, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience working with Mobile application development and 2-4+ years of experience with React Native development.
• Experience working with Swift / ObjectiveC, Java / Kotlin required.
• Should have a crystal understanding of App architecture and how to React interacts with the native layers for iOS and Android respectively
• Excellent JavaScript Developer has a deep understanding of scope and closures, ES6, Object prototypes, Async, Hooks, Functional components, and Performance
• Excellent Code reviewer and champion at writing unit test cases
• Should be able to evaluate alternative multiple system designs and solutions and make data-backed decisions in his/her approach

Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) on both Android and iOS
