Mobile Lead (IOS & Android)

Job Description:

We are looking for an Android Developer passionate about pushing mobile technologies to their limits. This Android app developer will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications. Android programming works closely with other app development and technical teams.

Experience:  2 to 3 years

Location:      Chennai

Responsibilities:

• Unit-test code for usability, and general reliability
• Submitting Andriod applications to clients for review and Google Play Store
• Design and Build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Continuously discover, Evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  Ongoing development of existing Android projects
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Working with backend developers for API requirements in the apps
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
• Developing/customizing Android Applications.

Requirements:

• 2-3years of developing Andriod Applications
• Android mobile application design and development with an in-depth understanding of Android Architecture, Framework, Android SDK, Core Java, Kotlin, and Android debugger.
• Experience with IOS development would be an added advantage
  Skilled at writing Unit Tests.
• Ensure a smooth and robust application at the front end for a seamless experience for the customers
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of hardware communication via Android / NDK build / BLE is a plus
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle - design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores, and support
• Should have knowledge about versioning tools preferably GIT
• Participating in the UX design discussions by providing inputs related to the lasted android and IOS native UX design guidelines
• FireBase / AWS integration
• REST API integration / JSON understanding Familiar with the usage of database utilities outside of android
• GPS Tracking, Bluetooth integration with apps.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

Job Role:

Experience building and maintaining code for:

Android platform (Android Studio, Kotlin, Java, Android SDK) OR

Any other platform, with proven track record of picking up new skills

Hands-on experience with modern technologies.

Excellent Kotlin/Java programming skills

Excellent analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills (battery usage, network usage optimization, etc)

Passion for usability, simplicity and consistency in software development.

Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

Exposure to Agile methodologies

Bonus points for knowledge of iOS platforms, hybrid platforms(React native, Flutter).

What you need to have:

• FRONT-END iOS development in SWIFT (preferable), OBJECTIVE C using AGILE METHODOLOGY to design, develop, debug and deploy iOS Mobile applications with modern architectural practices
• Cross-functioning with our product development team wherein you’ll tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible and easy-to-use UI for our customers around the world
• Follow the coding guideline standards to ensure a bug free code as per industry norms.
• Complete unit testing of the code before sending it for review
• Participate in the complete agile software delivery cycle, including development, testing, troubleshooting etc.
• Participate in process improvement program to improve the overall quality of the delivery process.
• This role offers good exposure in E-COMMERCE SEGMENT with HIGHLY SCALABLE design solutions
• Min of 3 years of relevant experience in iOS app development is a must, preferably in e-commerce vertical

• Proven knowledge of iOS SDK and development on X-CODE IDE using SWIFT (preferable), knowledge of OBJECTIVE C, JAVA will be an added advantage
• Responsive Front End Designs with adaptability to various screen sizes
• Familiarity with REST web services and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of SOAP would be an added advantage

• B.E/ B. Tech/ M. Tech in Computer Science/ Electronics Communication/ IT engineering
• M.Sc. (Computer Science or IT)/ MCA from a reputable institute
• Good communication in written and spoken English

• 2+ years of work experience in consumer-facing high traffic (millions of concurrent users) mobile applications with a desire to work in growing fast-paced startups.
• Worked on applications from scratch. Well-versed with building apps for various screen densities and sizes.
• Up to date on upcoming trends in android and its ecosystem with respect to design, architecture, etc.
• Experience in optimizing all important parameters like network utilization, application size, and battery.
• Experience with kotlin, coroutines, dagger, retrofit, Rx-android, and android architecture components, etc.
• Should have used mock frameworks, modular code design, and popular design patterns.

• Good grasp of algorithms, design patterns, memory management, and multithreaded programming.
• Experience with SAAS platforms for mobile development like Analytics, Push Notifications, Cloud Storage, Ad Networks, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Android's debugging, unit-testing, memory, and performance optimization tools.
• Experienced in databases like SQLite, ROOM DB.
• Experience in using Device hardware integrations like GPS, Camera, etc.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools.
• Knowledge of engineering practices like CI-CD.

React Native Application Developer

Job Description

•       As a React Native Developer, your responsibility will include creating a suite of applications and improving the functions of applications in development.
•       Experience in building a React or Native mobile app with traffic at scale
•       Ability to architect, refractor and debug an app without disrupting users
•       Proficient with mobile application life cycles
•       Should have multiple apps deployed to the App Store, Google Play Store and deep knowledge of the distribution processes
•       Understanding of unit and functional testing best practices.
•       Should be able to dive into the source code of front end libraries to debug, patch and extend them when necessary
•       Can take a defined software design and turn it into code.
•       Understands how to optimize the delivery of code and assets (e.g., images, fonts) to a browser or device (e.g., lazy loading assets, using CDNs, caching, compression, etc.).
•       Experience with React Js, React Native, JavaScript including DOM Manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Exp with integrated JSON is a must.
•       Thorough understanding of React Native and its core Principles. Hands-on experience on React Native Framework at least 2 Years.
