Technical Skills Required

• Expert with BSPs and use of Peripheral Device Drivers, on Android and Linux Operating Systems

• Expert with device boot for speed and absolute reliability on headless devices
• Expert allocation/efficient use of operating infrastructure: memory, CPU, I/O, and serial communications
• Expert full stack application development on Android and Linux Operating systems:
• Java, Kotlin, JS, C/C++, ---- a plus to have Python

• Skilled at architecture and implementation of custom algorithms and rules engines using onboard sensors for industrial applications: ex: fall detect, collision avoidance, man down, alerts

We are seeking a skilled and experienced React Native Developer to join our dynamic development team. As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using the React Native framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to create innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions.

We are hiring multiple Mobile Engineers with experience using React Native, Android, and iOS.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mobile Development and React Native. and React, as well as user experience design, code security, quality, and sustainability.

Role + Responsibilities:

• Developer at heart with strong focus to learn and implement latest enhancements in React Native
• Create captivating and interactive mobile experience for iOS and Android devices
• Implement designs that are asynchronous, responsive and provide a rich user experience across the mobile platforms
• Implement new frameworks and software that meets Simform’s standards in performance, reliability and maintainability
• Create rapid prototypes to vet new design, interaction, and integration concepts
• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
• Recommend new technologies, technical design and user interactions that will help differentiation the Funko digital experience
• Productively contribute to development projects in an agile software development environment, participate in sprint planning, task breakdown and daily stand ups

Person Specification and Qualifications:

• Complete hands-on on React Native and Javascript coding practices and conventions.
• Hands on experience on Android, iOS platforms in creating Hybrid / Native applications.
• Should have apps in the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
• Use of Management tools including Bitbucket (GIT), Jira and Bamboo.
• Hands-on experience on React Native APIs, ReactJS, Javascript, ECMAScript (OOJS) and JSX
• Thorough understanding of React Native development tools like IDEs (Nuclide, Atom, Sublime Text, or Visual Studio Code), Chrome debugging tools, ESLint, React Native CLI, Watchman, package manager etc
• Good familiarity with most of the React Native built-in and popular third-party frameworks, libraries, and accelerators. With in-depth expertise on most of the popular ones

Requirement: -

• Managing a team of 3-4 engineers 
• Hands on experience in Web applications and Mobile applications.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with React Native.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Should have experience in React.js as well
• Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java a plus.

Android Mobile Developer

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing the best experience to our user community from UI/UX design to speed and performance.  You will think critically to develop native apps for Android mobile devices.  You’ll instrument, measure, optimize and build high quality architectures and code in areas such as Search, Transaction Management and Profile Management.

General Responsibilities:

• End-to-end Android application development that will produce elegant features that our users will love
• Coding alongside the team (comprised of designers and product managers) developing features for our mobile apps
• Produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
• Understand where to make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns
• Provide solid feedback on good mobile UI/UX design practices and ways to reduce any user friction

Requirements:

• 5+ years developing extensively with Java 
• 7+ years experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions
• Knowledge of UI and animation frameworks, touch user interface, and MVP application design
• Strong expertise in developing enterprise mobile applications using Google’s Android SDK( e.g. packaging, emulators, adb, etc)
• Familiar with deploying to Google’s app store and staged rollouts
• Extensive programming experience in Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with relational databases (transactional and non-transactional), database architecture, and distributed transaction management
• Experience with consuming third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong understanding of working with REST services, databases, caching strategies & asynchronous calls is a must
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle along with working knowledge of SCM with strong emphasis on Git and Jira
• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.
