Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications using Kotlin and Java, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Work with UX/UI designers to implement and refine user interfaces. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Identify and resolve issues and bugs in applications. Optimize application performance and enhance stability.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support the architecture and implementation of robust and scalable solutions under the guidance of senior developers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Android development.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with a solid understanding of Android SDK and modern development practices.
• Experience with Android development tools such as Android Studio and Gradle.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and frameworks such as Retrofit, Dagger, and Room.
• Basic experience in implementing user interfaces and understanding of material design principles.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit and UI testing tools like Espresso.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 
• Proven experience as an Android Developer or Mobile Application Developer. 
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. 
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and mobile app architecture. 
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration. 
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. 
• Understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Firebase, or cloud-based services. 
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and mobile app deployment. 
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. 
• Published applications on the Google Play Store. 
• Portfolio or GitHub projects showcasing Android development expertise.

Skills :

​3–5 years of proven experience as an Android Developer with published apps on the Google Play Store.Strong proficiency in Kotlin; working knowledge of Java.

Solid experience with the Android SDK, Android Studio, and associated development tools.Familiarity with Android architecture components: ViewModel, LiveData, Room, WorkManager.

Experience with MVVM or MVP architectural patterns.Proficient in consuming RESTful APIs using Retrofit or OkHttp.

Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger 2 or Hilt.

Familiarity with reactive programming using RxJava or Kotlin Coroutines and Flows

.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git.

Experience with unit testing and instrumented testing using JUnit, Espresso, or Mockito.

Good understanding of memory management, threading, and performance optimisation in Android
