DevDarshan is a devotional platform launched by IIT graduates to promote the teachings of Indian culture and the Hindu way of life in India around the world. In the 21st century, where everything around is digitized then why not temples. That’s the idea behind DevDarshan.We’ve built a community of devotees from multiple Countries, through our Mobile Application that connects Temples and Devotees, have successfully raised seed investment and also started to generate revenue for the temples and Priests associated with us. Right now we are looking to grow our team and build new exciting features for devotees all around the world.

Requirement:

• Solid understanding and Proven working experience of Flutter, Dart, Flutter UI, and animations.
• Extraordinary sense of architecture, design, and writing clean code using reusable components
• Should have experience working with native technologies like Android, iOS
• Experienced in working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Should have published one or more mobile apps in Google Play or App Store
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Write clear, maintainable, and testable code that you are proud of

The Role

This role is a senior developer role which will naturally progress into a Mobile App Team Lead role.

The ideal candidate will need to have complete ownership over the development aspect of the mobile app.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement advanced mobile applications for the iOS platform.
• Participate and promote architectural initiatives, balancing long-term velocity with short-term customer needs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies to continuously discover, evaluate and roll out.

Requirements:

• Overall 3-4 years of experience on Mobile Technologies or relevant industry experience.
• Strong OOPS skills with extensive knowledge of the iOS SDK.
• Very good experience with Swift / SwiftUI
• Knowledge about MVVM architecture that facilitates Unit test case Development
• Write unit tests not because you have to, but because you know it makes your code better
• Have deployed apps in production environments, serving several thousand mobile users
• Can take and give constructive criticism in the form of code reviews and pair programming
• Want to work in an Agile, fast-paced environment, with continuous build, integration, deployment and monitoring frameworks like Jenkins, Jira and Analytics.
• Knowledge of Push notifications, today widgets and iOS frameworks like Core Data, Core Animation, ARKit
• Experience with memory and performance optimization tools like Instruments
• Integration expertise working with third-party libraries and APIs.

Pluses:

• Optimize Applications/Frameworks to maximize speed and scale.
• Cross Platform Code Development – Familiar with React Native / Flutter.
• Support multi-channel computing from PCs to iPads to multiple mobile devices.
• Knowledge of Team Development environments like source controls and continuous integration systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working across multiple geographies.

Education:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent

• We run functional teams based on the SCRUM methodology and are a fairly Agile environment, with 2-week sprints and teams with a minimum of 2 developers (preferably 3) plus a Platform Owner.
• Sprints cannot be interrupted and work is planned out well in advance to keep stress down to a minimum.

• Line by line code reviews for every pull request on Gitlab maintains code quality, and keep everyone in the loop & learning.
• At least 2 people working together on every project (collaborating not pairing)

• Swift is strongly preferred
• Experience with clean architecture, MVVM, and other design patterns
• Master Storyboards and auto layouts
• Familiar with RESTful web service
• Experience with Static Frameworks
• Great logic and problem-solving skills
• Practical understanding of Continuous Integration and Delivery
