Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for:

• Fabrics (raw materials)

• Readymade sarees

• Artwork products

• Bulk stock

• Returns and exchanges

• Track fabric consumption against confirmed orders and production plans

• Record and monitor all stock movements, including inward, outward, damaged, returned, and

exchanged items

• Ensure minimum stock levels are maintained and proactively raise replenishment alerts

• Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely availability of fabrics and materials

Dispatch & Order Coordination

• Coordinate closely with the Dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

• Act as the primary point of coordination between Dispatch and Customer Care teams

• Share real-time updates on dispatch status, shipment tracking, and delivery timelines

• Support resolution of dispatch-related issues, including delays, RTOs, returns, and exchanges

• Ensure all customer-facing information related to orders and inventory is accurate and consistent

Customer Support & Issue Resolution

• Assist the Customer Care team with order status inquiries and dispatch-related concerns

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints related to inventory or dispatch

• Ensure smooth closure of customer issues with proper documentation and follow

Job Description-Supply Chain Executive

• Establish and lead execution of operation strategy; reduce supply chain complexities
• Manage all supply chain related activities to ensure accurate delivery of products in all sales channels
• Minimizes sales returns/damaged goods and short-expiry goods by monitoring returns, developing a depletion plan and avoiding overstocking the points of sales
• Develop and maintain an excellent rapport with key stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, community organisations, regulatory bodies etc
• Making inventory plans, monitoring current stock and FG level, resource allocation as per budget etc.
• Supervise logistics from the plant to each city warehouse to ensure in-time deliveries
• Supervise intra-city day-to-day logistics as per the distribution plan which includes creating a daily dispatch plan, transportation of FGs to retail stores and ensuring timely delivery to retail stores
• Overseeing warehouse Management, ensuring statutory compliances are met and optimizing warehouse operations
• Monitoring performance of SCM & logistics operations by analyzing parameters like transportation costs, damages, TAT, order fulfilment rate etc.
• Proactively identify process gaps in SCM & logistics operations and find opportunities for optimization by continuously monitoring SCM Metrics
• Liaising and convincing external stakeholders like transportation service providers, dealers etc. about the terms of engagements.

Experience, Qualification, and Skills required:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Supply chain management department
• Any Graduate
• Strong analytical ability, Proficient in advanced MS Excel, able to build analytical models
• Ability to understand business problems and convert that into data analytic problems
• Understanding of inventory management and planning

1. High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field is advantageous.
2. Proficiency in warehouse management software and familiarity with inventory control systems.
3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
4. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations efficiently.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION:

• Provides input to the Project Procurement Plan and Project Material Responsibility Matrix.
• Responsible for the Project Material Management Plan & the Project Material Management Procedures and ensures alignment with Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics and Installation, O&M.
• Provides input to the Engineering Material requirements and verification of Quantities & Contingencies to support Installation, O&M required on Site as per Installation, O&M philosophy.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Job Specific:

• A thorough knowledge of Mechatronics & material management practices within the process automation industry (typically water-wastewater).
• Strong knowledge & understanding of material requisitioning, expediting, logistics, site material management & shop & field fabrication.
• General knowledge of Process Automation electrical and instrumentation materials.

Standard Competencies

Experience:

Required:

• 7+ years, with a minimum of 5 years project material management experience in a multi-discipline team environment.

Guide:

• Minimum of 7 years mechatronics engineering experience in oil and gas, petrochemical industry or equivalent, or water- west water
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project material management or coordination role, or
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as material controller or material coordinator.
• Additional experience in Installation, O&M site, supply logistics or offsite module/spool fabrication is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operating ERP based material management system is required.
