FlutterToyota Connected is looking for a Manager (iOS/Android) Mobile Development. The Senior
Developer will architect/design, develop, and support native mobile applications, SDKs, and
design systems/component libraries in the vehicle IoT space applying their knowledge in a highlyenergized, fast-paced, and innovative startup like environment.
Be a go-to resource for modern, native iOS and Android development in Swift/Kotlin. Lead,

What you will do:
• Design and develop software to develop cutting edge solutions
• Work closely with product owners to shape and deliver features to customers

prototypes or proof of concepts with several business and technical stakeholder groups
in both internal and external organizations
• Convert the proof of concepts to production-grade solutions that can scale for millions of
users
• Lead, nurture and mentor a technical team of iOS & Android developers to develop the

associated tooling, security and testing.
• Operate in a highly-iterative Agile (Scrum) development environment

You are a successful candidate if you:
• Strong experience developing Android applications + exposure in IOS - deploying in
production
• Have minimum 8 years’ experience in Software Engineering of which at least 4 years’
experience in building mobile apps
• Strong experience building and maintaining iOS frameworks using CocoaPods or
maintaining Android libraries via Gradle/Maven/Bintray
• Strong to moderate experience with functional/reactive programming patterns, using
RxJava and/or RxSwift, to build applications from the ground up is a plus.
• Strong experience collaborating with designers and UX experts to create great user
experiences.
• Experience with Sketch/Zeplin is a plus.
• Strong hands-on coding experience in Swift and/or Kotlin Experience integrating with
and/or building standard RESTful web services.
• Experience with GraphQL is also a plus. You have released or worked as part of a team to
release apps in the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store
• Experience mentoring junior developers is a must and preferable to have experience
managing a team of developers
• Experience developing for backends in public cloud environments is preferable.
• You are confident in expressing your point of view from a position of knowledge and
experience. You are also receptive to feedback and open to revising your plans when
appropriate

Job Description
The Toyota Connected team is looking for a Senior ML Engineer (Computer Vision) to be a part of a highly talented engineering team to help create new products and services from the ground up for the next generation connected vehicles. We are looking for team members that are required to be creative in solving problems, excited to work in new technology areas and be ready to wear multiple hats to get things done in a highly energized, fast-paced, innovative and collaborative startup environment.
What you will do
• Develop solutions using Machine Learning/Deep Learning and other advanced technologies to solve a variety of problems
• Develop image analysis algorithms and deep learning architectures to solve Computer vision related problems.
• Implement cutting edge machine learning techniques in image classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, sequence modeling, etc. using frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow and Pytorch.
• Translate user stories and business requirements to technical solutions by building quick prototypes or proof of concepts with several business and technical stakeholder groups in both internal and external organizations
• Partner with leaders in the area and have insights to select off the shelf components vs building from the scratch
• Convert the proof of concepts to production-grade solutions that can scale for hundreds of thousands of users
• Be hands-on where required and lead from the front in following best practices in development and CI/CD methods
• Own delivery of features from top to bottom, from concept to code to production
• Develop tools and libraries that will enable rapid and scalable development in the future
You are a successful candidate if
• You are smart and can demonstrate it
• You have 8+ years of experience as software engineer with minimum 3 years hands-on experience delivering products or solutions that utilized Computer Vision
• Strong experience in deploying solutions to production, with hands-on experience in any public cloud environment (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Excellent proficiency in Open CV or related computer vision frameworks and libraries
• Mathematical understanding of a variety of statistical learning algorithms (Reinforcement Learning, Supervised/Unsupervised, Graphical Models)
• Expertise in a variety of Deep Learning architectures including Residual Networks, RNN/CNN, Transformer, and Transfer Learning. And experience in delivering value using these in real production environments for real customers
• You have deep proficiency in Python and at least one other major programming language (C++, Java, Golang)
• You are very fluent in one or more ML tools/libraries like Tensorflow, Pytorch, Caffe, and/or Theano and have solved several real-life problems using these
• We think the knowledge acquired earning a degree in Computer Science or Math would be of great value in this position, but if you're smart and have the experience that backs up your abilities, for us, talent trumps degree every time

Job Description
Toyota Connected is looking for a Backend Developer who will architect, design, develop and participate in testing and documentation of large-scale, distributed software applications, systems and services. The Labs team is focused on creating products and services for next generation Connected vehicle systems and the team members are required to be creative in solving problems, excited to work in new technology areas and be ready to wear multiple hats to get things done. This is a highly-energized, fast-paced, innovative and collaborative startup environment; therefore, it is essential that not only the skillset, but also the personality matches such an environment.
You are a successful candidate if you:
- Are smart and can demonstrate it.
- Have 3+ years of experience as a developer for web scale products and services
- Have strong experience in Java or Golang (minimum 1 year) and implemented key aspects of an end-to-end solution
- Have expertise in implementing microservices (using tools and technologies for messaging, RPC, containerization, etc)
- Have expertise in design and development using DB (RDBMS, NoSQL) and caching (e.g Redis) solutions, especially in microservices environment
- Have experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
- Have Public cloud technology experience in production (Azure, AWS, or Equivalent)
- Have the ability and willingness to manage other developers including mentoring, performance reviews, etc
- Have solved non-functional aspects of like scalability, security, reliability with cutting edge if not bleeding edge technology
- Are good about creating unit tests, performing code reviews, optimizing performance and ensuring standards for maintainability
- You can manage ambiguity and are comfortable being set loose without a lot of direction
- You are confident in expressing your point of view from a position of knowledge and experience. You are also receptive to feedback and open to revising your plans when appropriate
