Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data engineering pipelines using Python.
• Implement and optimize database solutions with SQL and NOSQL Databases (MySQL and MongoDB).
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and quality assurance to ensure high service quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-pipeline related issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the codebase.
• Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Implement and manage containerization solutions using Docker.
• Implement tech solutions to new product development, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficient in Python programming skills and expertise with data engineering.
• Experience in databases including MySQL and NoSQL.
• Experience in developing and maintaining critical and high availability systems will be given strong preference.
• Experience working with AWS cloud platform.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach to problem solving.

Principal Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Engineering - Take complete ownership of engineering stacks including Data Engineering and MLOps. Define and maintain software systems architecture for high availability 24x7 systems.
• Leadership - Lead a team of engineers and analysts managing engineering development as well as round the clock service delivery. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members and contribute towards their professional growth. Manage weekly and monthly reviews with team members and senior management.
• Product Development - Contribute towards new product development through engineering solutions to business and market requirements. Interact with cross-functional teams to bring forward a technology perspective.
• Operations - Manage delivery of critical services to power utilities with expectations of zero downtime. Take ownership for uninterrupted service delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient in python programming skills and expertise with data engineering and machine learning deployment
• Experience in databases including MySQL and NoSQL
• Experience in developing and maintaining critical and high availability systems will be given strong preference
• Experience working with AWS cloud platform.
• At Least 3 years experience leading a team of engineers and analysts
• Strong analytical and data driven approach to problem solving

Job Profile: The job profile requires an inter-disciplinary approach to solving technical problems whilst also understanding the business requirements. Knowledge of the power and energy sector and a strong interest in solving national and global energy challenges is a must. This position will involve:

• Developing and maintaining SaaS products for the power and energy sector.
• Working with team members to handle day to day operations and product management tasks.
• Applying Machine Learning techniques to power and energy related data sets. 
• Identification and characterization of complex relationships between multiple weather parameters and renewable energy generation.
• Providing inputs for new product development and improvements to existing products and services.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Software Engineering/Mathematics and Computer Science.
• 1-2 years experience writing code independently in any object oriented programming language. Knowledge of python and its packages is highly preferable (numpy, pandas, keras, OpenCV, sci-kit). 
• Demonstrable experience of project work (academic/internship/job) 
• Ability to work on broad objectives and go from business requirements to code independently. 
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision and in a team; 
• Preferable to have some understanding of power systems concepts (Power Generation Technologies, Transmission and Distribution, Load Flow, Renewable Energy Generation, etc.)
• Experience working with large data sets and manipulating data to find relationships between variables.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all real-time and batch ETL pipelines with complete ownership
• Develop systems for integration, storage and accessibility of multiple data streams from SCADA, IoT devices, Satellite Imaging, Weather Simulation Outputs, etc.
• Support team members on product development and mentor junior team members
