Shopify Developer:
Objective:
To lead and innovate within Shopify web development, leveraging integrated performance marketing strategies to drive measurable business growth and deliver an exceptional user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shopify Development & UX Optimization
- Develop, maintain, and scale Shopify e-commerce stores with a focus on responsive, high-performance design.
- Implement advanced UI/UX practices to boost engagement, retention, and overall customer satisfaction.
2. Performance Marketing Integration
- Seamlessly integrate Shopify with performance marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and third-party automation systems.
- Enable end-to-end tracking to support data-driven marketing decisions and campaign optimization.
3. Shopify SEO & Content Collaboration
- Optimize store structure, metadata, and content for search engine visibility and performance.
- Collaborate with content and SEO teams to implement strategies that support organic traffic growth and conversion.
4. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Leverage Shopify features and custom solutions to test and optimize product pages and checkout experiences.
- Conduct A/B testing and user journey analysis to improve conversion metrics across the funnel.
5. Landing Page Development for Ad Campaigns
- Design and deploy high-converting, responsive landing pages within Shopify for targeted marketing campaigns.
- Ensure seamless integration with campaign tracking and analytics systems.
6. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze e-commerce performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and store performance.
- Generate actionable insights and reports for continuous improvement and ROI tracking.
7. Industry Trends & Innovation
- Stay updated on the latest Shopify and e-commerce trends, tools, and performance marketing strategies.
- Proactively implement new technologies and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and content teams to align development efforts with broader business goals.
- Ensure all web solutions effectively support marketing strategies and brand initiatives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Store functionality, uptime, and performance.
- Conversion rate improvements and marketing campaign success metrics.
- Increase in qualified traffic and user engagement.
- ROI of integrated marketing and development strategies.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Delivery and maintenance of a high-performing Shopify store.
- Effective implementation of performance marketing tools and campaigns.
- Continuous enhancement of user experience and e-commerce journey.
- Strategic alignment between Shopify development and business growth objectives.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development, including Liquid, theme customization, and third-party integrations.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing tools (GA4, Meta Pixel, etc.).
- Experience with CRO and responsive design for e-commerce.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to derive insights from data.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
