eVidyaloka endeavors to provide quality education to children attending government schools in the remote parts of India. This is ensured by bringing Volunteer Teachers based across the globe to the villages via digital classrooms, with technology as the backbone of the Program. The initiative aims at improving the learning outcome of the children who participate in eVidyaloka's online classes and ensure that they understand and apply the concepts of their respective standards in their regular curriculum subjects. While Teacher Volunteers teach, instant access to high quality content plays a pivotal role in enabling the Teacher to deliver the concepts effectively to the child. Must-Haves: • Comfortable with browsing websites like YouTube, Google Search, PDF documents etc. • Able to Read, Write and Speak the language of instruction - Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi. • Access to a Desktop/Laptop with high speed Internet. • Prior knowledge of MS Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel. • An academic orientation and inclination towards visual aids is an added advantage. • Keen to learn and open to constructive suggestions. • Presence of two hours per week is recommended. • An Internship certificate shall be issued on a successful completion.

VOLUNTEER CLASS ADMINISTRATOR eVidyaloka aims at bringing online classrooms to the remote villages, to ensure each child receives education that they rightfully deserve. With technology as the backbone, the Class Admin is the point of contact for the Teachers Volunteers based across the globe, the Class Assistant in the respective village and the eVidyaloka Coordinator in the backend. The Class Admin is a remote role that is based anywhere in the world. It is a pivotal role and ensures that classes are administered smoothly. It ensures that the required processes and guidelines are followed by the concerned Teacher Volunteers, enabled by the eVidyaloka software system - My eVidyaloka (www.evidyaloka.org). The Class Admin works with the eVidyaloka Coordinator to prepare the timetable and ensure that it is routinely followed in any one of the standards (5th, 6th, 7th or 8th). For 4 hours a day, the Class Admin tracks and monitors the topics covered in a lesson against the Curriculum Plan, and seeks feedback from the children and communicate to the Volunteer Teachers. While the Volunteer is not required to be online throughout, he/she ensures that the classes are delivered as planned. The main roles and responsibilities include Class Schedules, Curriculum Plan, Assessments and Periodic Reporting. Must-Haves: • Able to Speak the language of instruction - Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi. • Access to high speed Internet and applications like Skype, Whatsapp & Email. • Keen to handle challenges with passion and perseverance. • An Internship certificate shall be issued on a successful completion.
