- Create new sites, features, and enhancements according to customer specifications.
- Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, appealing, functional and intuitive implementation.
- Write the codes using development best practices.
- Effectively contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Perform testing of features before deployment. Programmatic testing with PHP Unit framework or similar is highly value
- 3+ solid years of web development using LAMP.
- 2+ solid years of Laravel MVC framework
- Thorough knowledge of OOP/MVC with PHP and MySQL on Linux platforms.
- Solid development version control practices (GitHub, Source Tree)
- Expertise in developing and consuming REST web services.
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, and Testing).
- Experience with relational database design and development using MySQL.
- A communication pro - must be able to pleasantly explain technical issues to a non-technical person.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
