Job Description:

Automation Strategy & Development: Design and implement automation workflows for routine IT operations across Windows and Linux environments (e.g., user management, patching, service configuration). Create and manage scripts for: Active Directory (user/group management, GPOs, security settings), DNS & DHCP management. Develop custom automation tools using Python, PowerShell, and Bash to support various infrastructure needs.

Virtualization & Cloud Automation: Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for VMware and Nutanix environments. Develop automation for Citrix Cloud and NetScaler for tasks like app publishing and load balancing. Integrate and automate cloud components (AWS or Azure) to support a hybrid infrastructure.

Monitoring & Backup Reliability: Implement automated LogicMonitor solutions for proactive issue detection. Build automation scripts for Commvault to manage backup and recovery, including reporting. Create monitoring and alerting tools using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Integration & Tooling: Use REST APIs to integrate third-party platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, LogicMonitor, NetScaler). Leverage Ansible for configuration management across Windows and Linux. (Preferred) Use DevOps tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes for provisioning and orchestration.

Endpoint Management & Security: Automate endpoint patching, software deployment, and asset tracking using tools like BigFix, JAMF, and Active Directory. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to automate threat response and enforce compliance standards.

Documentation & Collaboration: Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all automation solutions, procedures, and systems. Keep the CMDB up to date for server and workstation deployments. Provide guidance and support to other administrators using automation tools. Record project and support activities using ServiceNow or similar platforms. Participate in regular team and stakeholder meetings to share updates and gather feedback.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic and growing engineering team. This role is ideal for a seasoned Python expert who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has deep experience building scalable applications, working with cloud platforms, and automating infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture and maintainable code.

Design and implement RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI, and integrate with relational databases using ORM tools like SQLAlchemy.

Work with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) using Python SDKs to build and deploy cloud-native applications.

Automate system and infrastructure tasks using tools like Ansible, Chef, or other configuration management solutions.

Implement and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or cloud-native templating tools to manage resources effectively.

Work across both Linux and Windows environments, ensuring compatibility and stability across platforms.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience in Python development, with a strong portfolio of backend/API projects.

Strong expertise in Flask, SQLAlchemy, and other Python-based frameworks and libraries.

Proficient in asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture using tools such as asyncio, Celery, or similar.

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with cloud platforms – AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Experience using Python SDKs for cloud services to automate provisioning, deployment, or data workflows.

Practical knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, including system-level scripting and debugging.

Automation experience using tools such as Ansible, Chef, or equivalent configuration management systems.

Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with industry-standard tools.

Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration concepts (e.g., Kubernetes is a plus).

Hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools for managing cloud environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with other Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django)

Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes

Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

Should be SAP certified

At least 2 End-to-end implementation experience in S4HANA.Involved in workshops for requirement gathering of the client business processes.

Coordinate with the stakeholders during requirement gathering and execution phases.

Hands-on capabilities in Blueprinting, Configuration and Testing  the complete process cycles.

Possess strong knowledge on PSU relevant processes in PS, Budgeting and integration with other modules.

• Create new sites, features, and enhancements according to customer specifications.
• Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, appealing, functional and intuitive implementation.
• Write the codes using development best practices.
• Effectively contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Perform testing of features before deployment. Programmatic testing with PHP Unit framework or similar is highly value
• 3+ solid years of web development using LAMP.
• 2+ solid years of Laravel MVC framework
• Thorough knowledge of OOP/MVC with PHP and MySQL on Linux platforms.
• Solid development version control practices (GitHub, Source Tree)
• Expertise in developing and consuming REST web services.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, and Testing).
• Experience with relational database design and development using MySQL.
• A communication pro - must be able to pleasantly explain technical issues to a non-technical person.
