About the Role :

We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated iOS Developer (SDE-1) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to building and enhancing high-quality iOS applications that deliver seamless user experiences to millions of users. You will work closely with experienced developers, product managers, designers, and backend teams in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Mandatory Skills :

Swift, SwiftUI, iOS SDK, REST APIs, UIKit, Git, Mobile App Development, API Integration, Debugging & Performance Optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with the iOS development team to understand and contribute to the app architecture, codebase, and overall functionality.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for the iOS application.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless communication between mobile applications and backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices to maintain high code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, frameworks, and technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and Backend Engineering teams.
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve application performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Support maintenance and enhancement of existing features and functionalities.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in iOS application development.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Good understanding of iOS SDK, UIKit, and mobile application architecture patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON parsing, and third-party library integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with app performance optimization and debugging tools.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working on scalable consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
• Knowledge of App Store deployment and release processes.
• Exposure to unit testing and automation testing frameworks is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong iOS Developer profile (B2C background)
• Mandatory (Experience): Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in iOS development with atleast 1+ years in a B2C product company
• Mandatory (Skill 1): Must be proficient in both SwiftUI (modern UIs) and UIKit (legacy surfaces), and must have personally shipped 1+ iOS apps live to the App Store (verifiable links expected)
• Mandatory (Skill 2): Must have a solid grasp of iOS App architecture (MVVM or similar), REST API integration, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds and releases
• Mandatory (Skill 3): Must have basic, hands-on Flutter exposure
• Mandatory (Company): B2C product companies. Recent B2C experience with prior exposure to B2B also acceptable
• Mandatory (Note): This role is for the Astrochat product of shaadi.com
• Preferred (Education): B.Tech / M.Tech from a top-tier college
• Preferred (Bonus iOS Stack): Hands-on with RxSwift, Core Data, or push notifications

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and iOS development.
• Experience building and shipping real iOS applications using Swift.
• Strong understanding of SwiftUI / UIKit, iOS architecture, APIs and mobile development best practices.
• Prior experience building a consumer-facing app is a major plus.
• Someone who can take complete ownership of the iOS application and work independently from 0 → 1.
• Strong product and UX mindset — you care about how the product feels, not just whether the code works.
• Ability to work with APIs, authentication, notifications, analytics, backend integrations and other core mobile infrastructure.

• Own the iOS application end-to-end, from architecture and development to testing and App Store releases.
• Build the new InSeconds product completely from the ground up.
• Work closely with the founder and design team to turn product ideas into polished experiences.
• Build core experiences around content discovery, founder profiles, opportunities, networking and messaging.
• Help shape the technical architecture and engineering practices as the product evolves.
• Continuously improve the app based on user feedback, product insights and performance.
• Take ownership of problems beyond your defined responsibilities when required.

Mobile Engineering Intern

Build mobile software people actually use.

AbleCredit builds software for complex enterprise workflows where AI, APIs, business rules, human decisions, and real-world operations have to work together reliably. We care about building products that work in production - not just in demos. As a mobile engineering intern, you won't spend four months on a disposable internship project. You'll work with our engineers on real application features and learn how production mobile software behaves outside perfect Wi-Fi and simulator environments.

What You'll Build?

• Build and improve features in our production mobile applications.

• Work with camera, audio, permissions, storage, networking, and other device capabilities.

• Handle real-world mobile conditions such as slow networks, interrupted uploads, background execution, and app lifecycle changes.

• Integrate mobile experiences with backend APIs and services.

• Debug crashes and functional issues using logs, device tools, and observability.

• Write tests and participate in code reviews, releases, and technical discussions.

What We're Looking For?

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Strong programming fundamentals and curiosity about how mobile systems work.

• Experience building at least one meaningful Android, iOS, Flutter, or React Native application.

• Comfort with Git, APIs, JSON, and basic debugging.

• Ability to learn independently, ask good questions, and take feedback.

Bonus Points

• Kotlin, Swift, Flutter/Dart, React Native, or TypeScript experience.

• Published app, substantial side project, hackathon product, or open-source contribution.

• Experience with camera/audio APIs, local storage, background jobs, or offline-first applications.
