About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and motivated iOS Developer with 2+ years of experience to join our growing mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that deliver an exceptional user experience.

Qualifications:

B.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science, or

M.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science, or

MCA (Master of Computer Applications).

Key Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in Swift and Java programming.

Strong hands-on knowledge of SwiftUI, UIKit, and Apple’s core frameworks.

Proficiency with Xcode IDE and iOS app architecture.

Experience integrating and working with Firebase services.

Good understanding and implementation of MapKit.

Strong background in integrating third-party dependencies, libraries, and SDKs

Solid problem-solving and debugging skills.

Familiarity with RESTful API integration and mobile app design best practices.

Experience with the entire App Store submission process is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and reusable iOS applications.

Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features on schedule.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

Perform unit and UI testing to ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Integrate and manage third-party libraries and dependencies as needed.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across various iOS devices.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end development and launch of features on the our App
• Participate in scoping, planning discussions with the designers, PMs, and Leads
• Conceptualize and develop prototypes quickly
• Develop and own launch plans to completion
• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve the performance and the architecture of our App
• We will depend on this person to set-up/improve the code quality, tracking, and App architecture and this person needs to have extensively worked on React + Android/iOS

• Min. 3 years of Full-time work experience (College projects, Internships are not a part of this) Hands-on experience with React Native
• Deep expertise of either iOS or Android platform and ecosystems
• Deep understanding of your tools: Languages, frameworks, systems.
• Experience with abstracting requirements into frameworks.

• Experience Level: 2+ Years
• Extensive iOS development experience (iOS SDK, XCode, Objective C, Swift)
• Excellent understanding of iOS UX/UI guidelines/best practices and the ability to engage with the creative team to deliver pragmatic solutions, balancing design, quality, and velocity, iOS app architecture and use of design patterns.
• Strong OO & Objective-C skills, with an appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in code
• Good Communication Skills.

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin programming language.
• Design, build and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Work with external data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, and Material Design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns and algorithms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Prior experience as an Android Developer using Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Android NDK

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Passion for products and aspiration to make a big impact.
• Solid engineering principles and clear understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Expertise in implementation of custom UI components along with fabulous animations and write/understand Rest APIs
• Experience working with Google Maps, Social APIs, Geo-locations, Media permissions, SMS fetch, etc.

What you must have:

• Experience in iOS Development and / or apps on Apple store and must have handled atleast 2 projects.
• Software Development experience in Java, MVC / MVVM pattern, Objective C, Swift development.
• Familiarity with SDK Integrations, APNS, Cocoapods, Carthage, Networking, JSON structuring and working with REST APIs.
• Experience in collaborating on software projects using Git based Version Control Systems (FYI, we use Bitbucket).
• Bonus Points if you have:
• Have a basic knowledge of how Android Development works (for collaborating with the Android team and developing programming patterns which works for both Android & iOS)
• Have experience working in an E-Commerce project
• Have worked with graphic & memory optimization in apps
• Have a Github account with some cool projects in it.
• Have scary but amazing debugging skills.
