iOS Developer

We are looking for an iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices including mobile phones and tablet computers. Your primary focus will be development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Must have at least 1 year of experience in Android Studio, Java/Kotlin.

·        Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.

·        Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

·        Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

·        Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”
• Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration.

Required Skills:

• Designing and developing test automation scripts.
• Using test automation guidelines.
• Researching issues in software through testing.
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.

Key Skills

• Must have experience building apps using fluter, good knowledge on dart. Preferably built and deployed couple of apps both on iOS and Android
• Good knowledge in integrating or developing app functions using firebase
• Must have ported at least 2 applications on iOS and Android platforms. Exposure to the entire build piepline is a must.
• Has good knowledge on how native android and iOS apps work. Must have experience building iOS native apps
• Has an understanding on Computer vision and basic deep learning concepts. Any prototypes of proof of concepts are a big plus.

• UI/UX - understand design guidlines and implement them in the project
• Communication - communicate project goals clearly to the team. Understand and convert project requirements in to actionable steps

 Proven working experience of minimum 3+ Years in Android app development (Min 2Yrs. experience in Kotlin)

- Have strong knowledge in Kotlin and Java.

- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.

- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.

• Experience in writing code/functions that are Unit-testing ready and scalable.
• Strong knowledge in auto layout concepts.
• Experience developing rich UI using MVVM, RxSwift, Auto Layout, Storyboard, and UI animations.
