Job Description

Responsibilities

• Build and Maintain CMS Websites: Create, manage, and optimize websites using WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace.
• Theme-Level Customization: Modify existing themes and develop custom components tailored to our needs.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with our design and content teams to translate vision into polished, functional websites.
• Implement Speed & SEO Best Practices: Ensure fast-loading, SEO-optimized pages using modern plugins and development techniques.
• Handle CMS-Specific Features: Utilize metafields (Shopify), custom fields (WordPress), and similar tools to manage structured data effectively.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose issues and deliver reliable fixes to ensure high availability and responsiveness.
• Stay Current: Keep up with the latest in CMS and frontend development trends, tools, and standards.

Requirements

• Solid experience with WordPress (PHP), Shopify (Liquid), and Squarespace.
• Hands-on understanding of theme-level development and customization.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, Liquid, and JSON.
• Familiarity with WordPress custom fields and Shopify metafields.
• Understanding of WooCommerce Template structure and customization
• Experience with SEO tools and plugins, and performance optimization strategies.
