Job qualifications and requirements

• 4+yrs experience in software development in Groovy, grails framework,
• Knowledge of mysql, postgresql, RabbitMQ, Linux based development/ deployment.
• Deployment with Jenkins/ maven,
• Good knowledge in Jira.
• Project experience in ecommerce/digital domain is a big plus.
• Strong exp in creating angular2+ (preferably angular 6) custom components
• Having exp with state mgmt. e.g., rxjs, Redux observable, Ngrx, Ngxs.
• Frameworks: Angular 2+/ 5/ 6, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3,
• Programming: JavaScript, Nodejs, Typescript, JavaScript (OOP), jQuery, Restwebservices
• Tools: GIT hub, Wireframe e.g., invasion
• Cloud Exposure

Have an experience building backend server side applications in Node.js and Express.js

Have in-depth knowledge and experience of using ES6+ features and Object Oriented Principles

Have sound knowledge and are familiar with databases like MongoDb - (Preferred) and Mysql.

Have good exposure to cloud native technologies (AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, etc) 

Have working knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous deployment 

Have experience in optimising backend API’s and database queries for optimal performance.

You are good at problem solving and have analytical skills 

You are flexible in adapting new technologies and frameworks as per the projects needs

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing Web Applications/ Rest Apis/ Automation Scripts.
• Design, Develop, Enhance and test Back End Web Modules using Nodejs, Nestjs Framework, Mongo DB.
• Research and explore existing solutions, competition to get a holistic understanding of the design and development.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with various teams for effective outcomes.
• Meet deadlines in a high intensity work environment.
• Write Highly scalable and stable code.
• Pick up any project & amp; suggest a solution for completing it.
• Write production ready code with minimal bugs.
• Review other engineers' code and provide constructive feedback.
• Help grow the engineering team through involvement in the technology community (conferences, meetups, blog posts, open-source projects, etc) and referrals.
• Monitor changes in production & amp; rollback if necessary.
• Pair often and provide some guidance to more junior engineers.
